_My Thoughts
This Blessing will give insight into developing Financial Health.
I’ll begin with some questions?
Q_Do you know that Financial Health is important to God?
Q_ Do you know how many times “MONEY” is discussed in the Bible?
This may surprise you to know:
Total Verses: Over 2,300 verses mention money or possessions, almost twice as many as those regarding faith and prayer combined.
Q_Are you aware that God provided a a plan that will create financial health for everyone?
$
God’s plan for money management is
revealed in the Bible..
We can BANK on it.

_Scripture
I am recommending some examples from the Bible.
God supplies us with a remarkable view of the importance of financial health.
__Luke 6:38
Generosity will be rewarded. This is a dominate theme in the Old and New testaments.
Christians are to be radically generous in their giving. It is often called, “Seed Faith.” Our generous planting of finances is a seed that we plant, and those seeds will grow and multiply many times. This is a core principle in the Christian faith for followers of Jesus.
Our Financial Health (Yes, Prosperity!), is guaranteed when we put God’s principles to work in our daily life.
What we choose to think, speak, and even dream about, determines our financial health, as well as our spiritual and physical health. The words we choose are important. We can speak words that bring wellness, or we can choose the opposite.
Luke 6:39. tells us:
“Give and it will be given to you a good measure pressed down shaken together and poured into your lap..”
Nothing has changed since Jesus first spoke these lessons. Jesus instructions are for all people at all times.
I woke up early this morning with this sentence on my mind.
It was written by the Apostle Paul, to the church at Phillipi.
This was Paul’s “thank you” letter to the church for their generosity to him and financial support for the gospel he was preaching.
Philippians 4:19 gives us the assurance that God will supply everything we need because of his riches in glory, “in Christ Jesus.”
“But, my God shall supply all your needs. according to his riches in glory, in Christ Jesus.”
As I was thinking about this verse, I realized how my Mother taught me this principle on our long-ago walks together each morning. Mom and I would each leave our homes around 5:30 a.m., in the darkness of the early morning. She would begin walking towards my home and at the same time, I would begin walking towards her home. We met at the midway point between our homes, on a steep road to begin our walk together. As we walked along Mom would share stories and Bible passages that were on her mind. With every step we took those mornings, Mom was teaching me to be faithful to God and live a life of generosity in following Jesus.
As I approach my eighty-third birthday this year, I can affirm that Mom’s teachings have given me core values that have proved to be true in all circumstances over the years.
One vital lesson that Mom emphasized many times was her powerful message:
She always said, “My Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills.”
This promise is found in Psalms:50:10.
Why did she say this? Because she read the Bible and she believed God’s word.
If you are facing financial difficulties right now, begin to repeat this verse. Realize that God is our FATHER, and he owns everything in this world. Do you realize your Father God will give you everything you need? Begin to speak to him as you are walking along during your days. Speak to him when you are waking up each morning. Thank Father God for the blessings he has for you TODAY. Never fail to bring your needs to him, for he owns the cattle on a thousand fields. What do you need today? Make your request known to Father God.
Listen Here.
Begin today to pursue the financial health that God so abundantly provides.
Find all the resources you will need in the Bible. Seek God’s wisdom for the best plan for your life in the pages as you read about God’s abundance and his generosity for his people. Begin today.
_Daily Action Plan
Consider your resources, and pray for God to reveal his Financial Health plan to you.,
What is holding you back from being a generous planter of seeds for the Kingdom of God?
What are you willing to change in your financial picture?

A Question?
What inspired me to begin writing my Sunday morning posts about BLESSINGS?
In the month of November 2025, I participated in a 21-day Challenge to write three blessings each day. At the end of the 21 days, I wanted to keep writing a blessing for each week and publish it as a blog post every Sunday morning.
Your comments and prayers inspire the best in me.
Thank you for sharing my Sunday Blessings.
