__My Thoughts:
I received a little card in the mail. It was from my daughter, Ilsa, and her husband, Tony.
The greeting on the skipper-blue card was in bold white lettering. Some stars and splashes of color gave this card a feeling of looking into the sky at night, when it’s wintertime. Just like the falling snow outside my windows before dawn this morning. My favorite and perfect idea of everything I love about this season of sparkling beauty.
Unlimited Possibilities
I opened the card and read the hand-written message:
Mom, Since you always have an unlimited amount of ideas I know you will have a very fulfilling year. Your creativity and energy is so inspiring!
Wishing you a year of endless opportunities.
With Much love, Tony and Ilsa
Unlimited. Endless. Opportunities.
Do you love to discover the primary sources for ideas. as much as I do?
I am curious about where the idea of something being considered unlimited, or endless, enters into our history.
The first known use of unlimited was in the 15th century.
Opportunities are often Unlimited BLESSINGS from God.
Our heavenly Father delights in us and like all loving fathers he provides a boundless array of blessings and surprises.
During the persistent snowstorm this past week, I began to feel this opportunity to turn my mind towards the abundance of UNLIMITED BLESSINGS that are available and just waiting to be discovered.
For instance, at the beginning of this new year, I chose to turn my thoughts to creating my next book. I realized that I already had all the material completed – all written down, and saved on my computer.
Here is the backstory for my 7th book project:
During 2024, I wrote a poem every day, six days a week.
I worked daily with one of my dearest friends, Carol Farnsworth, who is an author in Ada, Michigan.
I recommend a VISIT to Carol”s blog Here!
At the beginning of 2024, Carol invited me to partner with her in a project. Our goal was to write a poem on a post card. six days a week for the entire year.
Additionally, we created artwork on the blank side of the card,. Each morning, Monday through Saturday, we mailed the cards to each other. Next, we would work on a new book. As it has transformed now into 2026, we each are creating a book. Carol has a book draft and is sending it out to potential publishers. I am much slower. I do hope to have my working draft completed by June.
For my book, I am developing the work on the theme of “FAITH.” I’ll include a number of poems written over the past few years and combine them with poems written for the Post Card project with Carol. This goal is at the top of my “to do” list for 2026. I keep in mind that my possibilities are unlimited as I am actively creating this 7th book for publication.
When I began this work, It was not long before I realized that the amount of work and art that we created was far too much to try to put together into a book. It seemed overwhelming to me, and I simply could not bring myself to move on with this vision. I realized this project would be much better for each of us to create a book of our artworks and poems. I can visualize more than one book, from each of us, as we sift through our poems and allow our imagination to flourish.
This fact led me to begin putting together my collection of poems about faith, plus a nice assortment of artworks created on the Post Cards. My new book will be my 7th published book. I am working on it now, and anticipate completing the draft for the book later this year.
Carol has completed her draft for the book of poems and artworks that she created as well. She is sending out her draft to publishers, and I think she will soon have a good option for her publication, too.

Carol’s poems are organized by theme such as nature, people, places, etc.
This is a good example of how many plans in our life, may require a change of mind. We must be willing to change our thoughts and plans, and realize that we do have unlimited opportunities.and possibilities.
My advice here, is to take a break when you need it and allow your mind to rest awhile.
Be flexible and willing to make changes as the needs come to surface. I was simply exhausted after working so diligently all year in 2024. In addition, my beloved husband, Bob, died the same month that our project began in 2024. For the following two years, I realized my mind was not able to continue forward and I required a good long rest to begin to heal. At the beginning of this year, I knewI could resume my work on a new book. I can pick up the pieces, and allow my Heavenly Father to turn them into:
Unlimited Possibilities
and
Endless Opportunities
Question:
What does it mean to YOU, to have UNLIMITED BLESSINGS?
Scripture:
I Corinthians 2:9
9 However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”[a]—
the things God has prepared for those who love him—
Daily Action Plan:
1_ASK God to show you the endless opportunities he has just for you.
2_ Write your request down in your journal or on your calendar. and then WAIT.
3. When the possibilities and opportunities begin to come to you, write a Thank you Note to God. Write the note of thanks and tuck it in your Bible. You will be able to read it again, and give praise to God for the wonderful UNLIMITED blessings you receive.

Please tell me how God answered your request.

blessed with UNLIMITED conversations with our Father God.
Final Note:
What inspired me to begin writing blog posts about BLESSINGS?
In November 2025, I participated in a 21-day challenge to write three blessings each day (for 21 days) I began to see blessings in my life every day. Perhaps blessings were always there, but at this time I became aware of them because I was thinking about writing them down. When we can write down important things in our daily life, we can grow significantly in our spiritual walk with God.
This new awareness of daily blessings has become a template for living.
Thus, my awareness has led me to share what I am learning and receiving. I have discovered that my days are so much better since I began to look forward to those discoveries.
Your comments and prayers inspire the best in me.
Let me know if this message is helpful to you.
Thank you for sharing my Sunday Blessings posts with others to encourage them and share the Love of Jesus.
