Garden Song – Poem – “Autumnal Equinox” — 5 Comments

  1. Lynda- this took me back to the many fall days I experienced in western Pennsylvania. I was there again. You make me miss it!
    Thank you!

    • Thank you for this comment. I am always so pleased when my poem brings pleasure and good memories. Thank you for letting me know it touched you in such a positive way. I love to write my poems – and getting a good response is icing on the cake of life. <3

  2. Yum! What a buffet for my spirit!

These are my favorite lines (if I have to narrow it down to 3…a trinity of goodness):

Kaleidoscopic movements shift with autumn’s breeze.

Life forces flow as ancient Connoquenessing creek

moves furiously around Pennsylvania’s hills and valleys

Thank you for sharing your inspirational lifework with our world!

    • I was so pleased to find your comment this morning. It is a dark morning here in western PA, on Sunday, October 29. It’s raining and outside my window, I just heard a branch fall from the old Norway Maple Tree. Be blessed in all you do today and in the final weeks of 2023. I am thankful to have you as a dear friend. <3

  3. “Autumnal Equinox,” another wonderful Abecedarian poem. The words flow like a river, and the images of western Pennsylvania are lovely. I especially loved your descriptions in the second stanza. Thank you for bringing autumn to life and sharing your work.
