The SCOOP:

Lynda McKinney Lambert is  a professional artist and author.

She is a retired Professor of Fine Arts and Humanities, Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA.  Lynda retired in August 2008 nearly a year after she was diagnosed with Ischemic Optic Neuropathy,  She suddenly lost most of her sight in October 2007. But, Lynda was not about to give up her life of writing, teaching and making art!  Lynda learned to change and adapt and to come back stronger than ever. This blog gives HOPE to all who visit.

Creating this blog was her pathway to communicate with the world again.

Lynda was in a Personal Adjustment to Blindness training program for three months in 2008.

It was two years before she could use a computer using special technologies for the blind.

Comment:

Since I retired from my rigorous international teaching schedule, I can work full time on writing and art projects.

I focus on creating works that celebrate life.through a Christian worldview. I am a believer and follower of Jesus since I was fifteen years old.

I own River Road Studio in the Village of Wurtemburg, in rural western Pennsylvania.
