Today, I recommend a little book that is inspiring, easy to read, and perfect to use for a daily meditation.
Each of the 31 daily readings includes a scripture theme, a morning prayer, and an evening meditation. It is practical, and each of the 31 days of readings end with a question or a thoughtful assignment for the reader to continue to consider for that particular day.
As I was reading each chapter, I was taking notes in my journal. Writing the notes helps me to remember what I am learning, and it is an affirmation to myself that there is something here that is important for me to learn or remember.
Here are just a couple of the topics listed in the Contents of the book:
“The Day of the Psalmist…”
“Leaving the Monkey Mind…”
“Learning to Feel Again…”
As you can see, this is a practical book and I think most people who purchase it are pleased with the experience they encounter during the 31 days.
This book is a 31-day plan for living a faith-centered life and experience a powerful personal breakthrough

I do not usually write Book Reviews or Critiques.
Instead, I write my recommendations for inspirational and educational books that change lives.
Welcome to Lynda Recommends.
I believe this book could be just the one that you are searching for today.
Why?
This is the perfect time to buy some new books and to create a quiet place to read.
In my home, I created a “reading room.” Here, I have my book shelves that hold all my poetry books and art books. I have a desk in this room that is used exclusively for reading my books with technologies for the blind. I use a MERLIN CCTV in this room, with an OTT LAMP lighting from both sides of that Merlin.
Create a personal and private READING SPACE in your HOME!
Even though I have limited vision, I like to read with my eyes, when possible.
Using technologies, I can do this and it’s a far more intimate and satisfying experience than listening to a book, for me. I am a life-long visual learner and a visual artist. Therefore, reading with my VISION is a high priority and I am satisfied with this arrangement in my Reading Room. I am in no hurry. I take my time so I can absorb the beauty and educational content of all the books I choose to read.
Books are great gifts that keep on giving. CHOOSE BOOKS for GIFTING – Make it a habit.
I always say,
“My books are missionaries! They travel to places we cannot go, and they minister to people we will never meet in person. We never know the distance a book will travel or the many people who will read it. A gift of a book is a gift of generosity and faith.

Book Recommendations by Lynda McKinney Lambert.
Please take some TIME out for personal reading before the cold winds retreat and the comforting afternoons and evenings we enjoy during wintry days are left behind us. When spring arrives and the days grow warmer, like many other people, I’ll be outside working in my flower gardens. Time with books will be limited as the work-days of spring capture my attention.
During lent and Easter, is the perfect time to read this book and learn more about the intimate time we can have with God, every day. Heaven’s Glory Mindset will remain with you long after you close the book for the final time. Find out what happens in your life as you walk through the 31 days of discoveries. This is a book I’ll be reading again in the near future.

Final Thoughts from Lynda:
I typically read and share books that are from a Judaeo-Christian Worldview that is positive, uplifting and faith-based.
I do only selected books that I can recommend with confidence.
Check out this book: I would love to know what you think after you complete the 31-day assignments.
Comments and sharing my blog post are always appreciated.
