Today’s poem ~ efferescent fog
effervescent fog
hovers over swift river
vaporized water
aquatic alterations
predicts modifications
This TANKA poem is inspired by the cooler weather in western Pennsylvania. When I go outside early in the morning it is often foggy because the mist is rising from the water flowing down the Connoquenessing Creek. My house sits on a ridge overlooking the creek, surrounded by woodlands.
