The Evergreen Journal is a series of inspirational articles, poems, and personal reflections by American Author, Lynda McKinney Lambert. “Living with Esther,” is a non-fiction story based on the life of the author’s mother, Esther. Lynda recounts her mother’s morning Bible studies at her kitchen table. Esther left here for her eternal home on March 3, 2007. At the beginning of 2022, Lynda picked up Esther’s Bible, and began using this Bible each day for her own devotional time. As she begins reading the Book of Romans, Lynda begins to remember special moments in their lives together.
