Announcement #1 – Announcement #2 – Cat Nap
Day 18 of the 21-day challenge.
I share 3 blessings each day from my personal life experiences in western Pennsylvania.
Blessing 1: Good News in my Mailbox
I always anticipate blessings and GOOD NEWS in my mailbox.
No matter if it is the black metal mailbox on the edge of River Road, or my e-mail mailbox. I always expect God’s blessings come in all sorts of ways. After all, he is THE CREATOR, so of course, the good news and blessings keep on arriving and nearly always in a surprising manner. Our Father laughs a lot as He bestows good news upon us when we are not even expecting it. This bit of Good News arrived to tell me that my newest book is now completed at Perkins Library. ( From Nancy Gahagan)
My surprise letter arrived a few days ago.
First, I wanted to let you know that we are in the finishing stages for your book! The narrator is going to be completing corrections tomorrow. I will submit the completion paperwork with National Library Service this week. Unfortunately, due to the government shutdown, forms weren’t processed there for several weeks, so they are very behind. I expect it will take at least 4 weeks before they get to your book. I think it is safe to say though, that it will be up on BARD by sometime in January.

Blessing 2: More Good News Arrived.
I do have another reason for contacting you, though. We have a very popular outreach program for the library called Library Without Walls. It is a monthly Zoom call that we host featuring authors and book discussions that would be of interest to our patron base. The great thing about it is that neither the participants nor the presenters have to travel to attend! All of the programs are recorded as well, so that we can send it out to people who aren’t able to attend in person. We have been putting together our program for the 2026 calendar year, and we would like to have a program featuring a panel of blind and visually impaired authors. I was asked to recommend some possibilities, and since we have been working on one of your books, you came to mind immediately! The program is still taking shape, but we are planning to have three authors on the panel in total. Is this something that would interest you? The date we have in mind is July 21 from 2:00-3:00. We would love it if you were able to participate.

Blessing 3: Cat Nap
I am blessed to have six cats in my house, and two cats that live outside.
As I write this message, my youngest cat, Mr. Little Bunny, is curled up on a soft pillow at the window near my desk. He is my shadow, and never far from me at any time. He is very spoiled and loved by everyone who comes to our home. He is also, “An Attention Seeking Cat.” He is a deep brown/black tiger cat. His personality is BIG.
Final Word:
When this new book is released to National LS, I’ll be so excited. This is my sixth published book. My books are poetry, and/or Non-fiction stories. I write from my heart because I love to write beautiful and inspiring books. It is a joy to put a book into a mailing envelope and send it off to the person who ordered it. It is always a gift of love that is sent with a prayer and a blessing from me to the new reader who gets it. It is always a privilege to share beauty and hope with my readers.
Thank you for visiting my blog today.
