Day 14 of the  21-day challenge.

I share 3 blessings each day from my  personal life experiences in western Pennsylvania.

My granddaughter, Angel, arrived in the afternoon yesterday.  I told her I took the large Santa up to my fiber studio and asked her to help get it prepared for lighting up last night.

My fiber studio  has a bay window that faces River Road.  When it got dark, around 6 p.m. I turned on Santa’s lights . He will be bright and glowing for  6 hours, then turn off for 18 hours.

When it comes to Christmas, I am a child in my heart again.

I love to light up the nights with happiness in my little corner of the world at the end of River Road, in the Village of Wurtemburg, PA.

Blessing 2: Gems

As a treat for my cats, I ordered something different that will be a special treat for them.

Gems come packaged with two small single servings.  This is just the right amount for each cat to have one Gem for their evening treat.  They are Fancy Feast GEMS, a Gourmet Cat Food.  They seemed to really enjoy this new treat.

 

Blessing 3: Honey

Instead of using sugar or artificial sweeteners, I use honey.

While there is not a big difference in calories, there are some other nutritional benefits in honey.

Anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties,  to positive health.benefits.

It is delicious in my coffee and tea, and is a healthier choice.  It is best to buy local honey, and the darker the honey the better it is. I get local honey at my grocery store year-round.
