From Lynda’s Journal ~January 1, 2025 – Finishing Line
Hello and Happy New Year.
I am so happy to share an exciting creative project with you.
Today, begins the final year of the first quarter of this CENTURY.
At the beginning of 2024, I began to work on a collaboration with Michigan artist/author Carol Farnsworth. In this post, I will share some insight into our project.
The Project:
Phase One (January 1 through December 31, 2024)
For one year, we each authored a poem 6 days a week and sent it out on a post card.
On the reverse side of the post card, we created artworks for every individual card we mailed.
We sent the cards each day, via the USPS. Each month Carol and I averaged 26 cards with poems and artwork traveling across the miles between Pennsylvania and Michigan. We say we are doing our part to keep the postal service running.
Together we created artwork and a poem for approximately 625 mailings. Now, that is dedication to our project, isn’t it!
For the first day of the new year, 2025, I am sharing the last poem I wrote and the last artwork I created on that card.

Personal note from Lynda
I ask that when you purchase and read my books, please consider writing a short reflection on it – a sentence or two is adequate. It means a LOT to know that you found my book of value in some way.
