Today, my early morning wake-up call came gently at 3 a.m.
Miss Bessie, one of my oldest cats, decided that I needed to get up and give her the tiny morning pill that she needs each morning. We came downstairs to the kitchen, and I gently lifted her up and carefully placed her on the kitchen counter.

Today is my daughter’s birthday – Happy Birthday Ilsa!
I am thankful for the houseplants in my home. I have 3 peace lily plants. One is from my Son-in-Law’s funeral. Two of my plants are from my husband’s funeral.
Other plants have been with me for decades. I purchased them nearly 30 years ago at a rare plant nursery in Georgia. My daughter and her family lived in Newnan, Georgia at that time.
