Lynda’s Journal – Poem – Partridge Breasted Aloe – Poem

From Lynda’s Journal features my poem, Partridge Breasted Aloe.
The poem is published in Behind Our Eyes 3: A Literary Sunburst. This book is a literary anthology by Writers with Disabilities and the Editor is Mary Jo Lord.
This wintry themed poem by me, appears on page 359 and 360. I think you will enjoy the poem and I hope you will take a look at it on Amazon also. I am proud to be iincouded in this collection, and I have 2 non-fiction stories in it as well.

When my Mom passed through the Veil in March 2007,  I inherited her most precious possession  – her Bible.
Esther McKinney’s  Bible is the King James Version, bound in deep red leather.  This is the one she carried to church. It’s the book that was always on her kitchen table,

Lynda Recommends – Daily Decrees

This is a book I have purchased and gifted to friends and family. If you enjoy reading a daily meditation I recommend this one. Kunneman provides a  scripture  and a “word of encouragement” that will guide readers for the day’s reflection on each decree.

While the book covers many topics , it is also EASY to read and does not require much time.

Brenda Kunneman gives us hope and the ability to focus on one decree for the day. I found this little book to be a great way to begin my day.
