Garden Songs – This Week in Photos

Welcome to our Week in Photos. My name is IVY. I live at River Road Studio with Lynda and all of our other furry friends. I am very SHY.

This week we had rain every day and even a big thunderstorm one night.

Dogs were frightened and worried.

Cats were in hiding, as usual, when there is something serious going on.

Blue Japanese Grass and our porch on a rainy day.

I love it when the Japanese grass is flourishing and in full bloom, just like it is right now.

I think the blue grass is so elegant and i love this delicate shade of blue.

This is the old Pear Tree where we feed the deer and other animals every evening.

The sun goes down in the west, just beyond the barn as you can see it here.  I like to sit on my porch and watch the misty lavender darkness begin when the sun is going down.

Our baskets of flowers look so pretty. There are 10 baskets hanging on the wraparound porch.

My favorite flowers are the double begonias. They look like shiny little roses in tight bunches.

gentle wind chimes melody

lonely  all-night rain

house wren’s hidden nest

soggy double begonias

bird songs before dawn

secret pine branches

red-tail hawk chants in darkness

high, low, high, low, high
