#Garden Songs – “Sunflowers and Mushrooms”

I wrote “Sunflowers and Mushrooms,” for National Poetry Month this year. 
This poem is perfect for my celebration of Father’s Day.
What about you? Did your father create gardens or bring home food from the woods for your family to enjoy?
In this poem, I give a testimony of my father’s life and my memory of him. – William Joseph McKinney (1996 – 1988). How I miss you, Dad!
