Money – Shopping – Cars
TMI Tuesday time again. Let’s do something we have not done in a while…
This or That
Here are my responses to this week’s
challenging questions on TMI Tuesday.
- Money or Fame? Why?
I’d take money over fame. It’s much more desirable to invest money that makes money and grows.
Money management helps us to be generous and support charitable organizations. Good fiscal planning helps us learn how to budget and save and learn how to manage finances. A person who cannot control and manage $10. will be unable to manage larger amounts in the future. This is a skill that I believe should be taught in the home. Mom and Dad should be teaching their children from the time they are small. If Mom and Dad are role models and are teaching by example, the children learn the value of money and how to properly manage it. I think it should begin at a young age with an allowance that the child learns how to manage through the careful guidance of the parents. Each child should have a savings account in the bank, and learn how to set goals for saving.
Fame fades and is fickle and changes with the zeitgeist.
2. Fish or Chicken?
Neither one is of any interest to me. I’ll enjoy tofu, sizzled in olive oil with my veggies.
3. Sleeping at night–too warm or too cold?
I love a warm blanket, with MY PILLOW and my feet outside the covers.
4. Beard or Moustache? Why?
Beard. My husband has almost always had a beard – we are from the BEAT GENERATION, after all.
5. Cars–classic or modern?
As long as it is a Jaguar, I don’t care about the year of manufacture. If current, I’ll say I’d like a Jaguar. If vintage, I’d go for a Jaguar. They are a work of art – at any age.
I really miss driving – I use to drive with the top open and just drive for the love of driving – going nowhere in particular. My granddaughters have many fun memories of traveling with me at the wheel. I don’t think a car is something that takes us from one place to the next. No, for me, a car is something you wear – like a great handbag or a new pair of shoes. Cars should be fun. I no longer drive! Which is crappy.
6. Which holds more beauty–smile or eyes?
My husband’s ice-blue eyes are beautiful to me.
7. Soothing the soul–hiking or shopping?
I love an occasional shopping day in a beautiful store. My last shopping day was mid-March, and within 2 more days were all in shut-down. I am glad I enjoyed that day of shopping and lunch with my daughter.
Bonus: What is your favorite type of foreplay?
