Let\u2019s GO!<\/em><\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

ONE_ I am thankful for FLOWERS\u00a0<\/span> to brighten our life in the month of August.\u00a0 I wrote a haiku to celebrate some of the\u00a0 flowers\u00a0 \u00a0Garden Songs #5 <\/a>on my porch – Garden Song #4\u00a0 <\/a><\/p>\n

TWO_ I\u00a0 am thankful for our Dog. Miss Mitchell.\u00a0 We\u00a0 walked together for a mile, three\u00a0 mornings this week, in-between the daily rain.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Miss Mitchell enjoys walking and sniffing the flowers.<\/p><\/div>\n

THREE_ . I am thankful for our\u00a0 Granddaughter, <\/span>\u00a0Angel, who\u00a0 comes to clean our house every Wednesday.\u00a0 We get to visit and share stories together, too.<\/p>\n

FOUR_ I am thankful\u00a0 for\u00a0 Retail Stores. <\/span>\u00a0What experience can\u00a0 compare with shopping in a beautiful store that provides\u00a0 personal assistance to customers? Nothing I can think of!<\/p>\n

Back-to-School Shopping is going on right now.\u00a0 Yes, now is the time for kids to be prepared for going back to school. How exciting that is for them.<\/p>\n

FIVE_\u00a0 I am thankful for the delicious and healthy frozen dinners – Amy’s frozen dinners.<\/span>\u00a0 Last night, I\u00a0 enjoyed the “3 Cheese and Rice with Kale Bowl,” for dinner. I began eating Amy’s meals when I lived in California in 1991.\u00a0 \u00a0I love organic\u00a0 rice vegetables & pasta – all gluten free.\u00a0 Get Amy’s Recipes here<\/a><\/p>\n

SIX_\u00a0 I am thankful for the 8 pm check-in calls\u00a0 with <\/span>\u00a0our\u00a0 daughter, Salome’ each night.\u00a0 \u00a0It’s good to have that last call of\u00a0 the\u00a0 evening to\u00a0 say,\u00a0 “I am just checking in with you!”<\/p>\n

SEVEN_\u00a0 I am thankful for\u00a0 Sidewalks.\u00a0<\/span> We had a new sidewalk installed this summer. It replaced the original broken and crumbling sidewalk on one side of our house.\u00a0 My goodness, does it ever feel good to walk on a nice solid and new sidewalk when I am outside doing my gardening.<\/p>\n

EIGHT_\u00a0 I am thankful for the fresh breeze<\/span> coming into my office from the open window this morning.<\/p>\n

NINE_ I am thankful\u00a0 for my husband<\/span>\u00a0 who looked into my office to say, “Good Morning,” today.<\/p>\n

TEN_ I am thankful for a \u00a0phone call<\/span> from our son this week.\u00a0 We have not seen him for about 2 years.<\/p>\n
