I know she&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">laughing at winter snowstorms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">My pipe dream endures for<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Nature has perfect timing in her<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">ornate drawers of dreams-come-true.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Purple Dusky Challengers with black beards<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">quivering and tall.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Representative ambassadors<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">singing life-force.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">That is who you are<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">underground secrets of winter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Victorious prize-winners<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">warbles in secretive clusters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Xerophytic, ferns asleep in rocks and rubble<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">yearnings by washed-out pathways when it&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\">zero degrees in the sunshine.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"font_8\"><span style=\"color: #ff00ff;\">\u273d<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"font_8\">Lynda McKinney Lambert is a retired college professor of fine arts and humanities. Retirement from teaching in 2008 opened the door for her to write full-time.
