March Madness\u00a0 &\u00a0 The Clutter Dragon<\/span><\/h1>\n

Saturday Stopover<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

With Winter nearly in the rearview mirror, I paused to have a look around in my office.<\/span><\/p>\n

My office is a dual purpose room just one step down from our kitchen.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is private, and it\u2019s perfect for my little get-a-way place where I can work on writing projects, take care of incoming and outgoing mail. The wall shelves are ample storage for my knitting yarns, supplies, and binders for various purposes.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have known for quite some time that it needs to be ORGANIZED again. Let the March madness begin – right here in this room, today.<\/span><\/p>\n

Do you ever know that you know – you have to tear apart the entire room because it is just not working for you?<\/span><\/p>\n

Over some time, this happens in a room where you spend a lot of time working. One day you have a look around, and you say, \u201cI have to face it – unless I tear this whole room apart, it will never meet my needs because it needs to be\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

ORGANIZED!<\/strong><\/em><\/h1>\n

*<\/span><\/p>\n

~I am thinking about how to ORGANIZE my OFFICE ~\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

I will begin to make my office more user-friendly. This room is my place on the planet. Therefore, I will take responsibility and make it work better for my use.<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

This quote made me look around here in my world.<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

This room is where I write, take care of business matters, and store my yarns and everything related to knitting.<\/span><\/p>\n

I asked, \u201cHow do I begin to take responsibility for making my office a better place?\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

First, I looked at the knitting items and the yarns stored in labeled containers on a wall of shelves built just for that purpose. I get an A-plus for that part of the room!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Everything is in order, and I can find whatever I need quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n

OK, now what about the rest of the room?<\/span><\/p>\n

Somehow, it has become a cluttered mess, to be honest about that.<\/span><\/p>\n

The more I considered the rest of the room, the more I knew I had to face the Clutter Dragon that had taken over. I see that most things are in labeled containers on shelves. However, they are not organized. Worse yet, I noticed the wasted space and boxes or objects stacked on the floor. Messy, I\u2019d say.<\/span><\/p>\n

First, I began to think about the wasted space. I saw that a little table in front of the large window was taking up space and that I needed to remove that table and get two carts that would be there instead. I ordered two Origami three-shelf rolling carts from HSN dot com.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

My two carts\u00a0arrived yesterday. The nice-looking carts fit perfectly into that spot by the window.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When I get it organized, I will post a photo of how it worked out for me.<\/p>\n

Today, I will think of what to put on those six shelves.<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

I will keep in mind one thing ~<\/span><\/p>\n

Like Things go with Like Things!<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n

The six shelves will be far more helpful to me than the table that took up a lot of space and was a place where everything was just dumped or stacked. \u201cNo more dumping,\u201d I say to myself!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I will figure out today just what will be on those two carts.<\/span><\/p>\n

I will not be overwhelmed by trying to do too much today.<\/span><\/p>\n

I will stay focused on only the six shelves. This job is enough for one day.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
