About my ART and Writing-<\/span><\/h3>\n

I have a BFA and MFA in Painting – and a MA in English. My degrees are across disciplines which gives me a solid background for\u00a0 imagery in all of my creative works in art and writing.\u00a0 I am an actively exhibiting artist for over forty years.\u00a0 I am an author and my books are available at major retail book sellers – Amazon and Barnes & Noble.<\/p>\n

FIBER ART<\/span><\/h3>\n

I specialize in TALISMANS and WALL WORKS – using\u00a0 fabrics, beads, gemstones, found objects, threads.<\/p>\n

I use an ACROBAT Closed \u00a0Circuit\u00a0 Television \u00a0to assist me in my studio because I have very low vision.<\/p>\n

I enjoy being outdoors and exploring NATURE with my camera in hand. I also envision STILL LIFE shots using mundane objects which I find in their environment in my own home, my gardens, and in the woods where I live in western Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

I am delighted\u00a0 my photo became the COVER of my FIRST CHAPBOOK.<\/p>\n

The photo shows our 2 dogs, Miss Dixie Tulip\u00a0 (Left) and Miss Mitchell (right).<\/p>\n

They are walking through the snow, headed towards the woods. This new chapbook contains 30 wintry-themed poems. Published Jan. \u00a03. 2020.\u00a0 (Available at all major book sellers now)<\/p>\n
