Not yet, my friends, not yet.\u00a0 Winter is still with us!\u00a0 Let\u2019s not waste time wishing away our days. Don\u2019t long for the days to pass quickly, it is your life you are wishing away if you do that.\u00a0 Learn to enjoy every day, just as it comes, and be thankful for that day!<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lyndalambert.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Photo_2015_Snowfromupstairswindow.jpg?resize=1080%2C810\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"810\" \/><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/lyndalambert.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/Photo_2015_snow_MepleTreeCropped.jpg?resize=1080%2C660\" alt=\"\" width=\"1080\" height=\"660\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This morning I read a verse in Psalms 118. \u00a0Here is what I found there:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>&#8220;This is the DAY the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here is a GREAT LINK that will give you TWENTY-FIVE Bible verses about SNOW and WINTER.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Twenty-Fiver Bible Verses About Snow and Winter\" href=\"http:\/\/bible.knowing-jesus.com\/topics\/Snow\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/bible.knowing-jesus.com\/topics\/Snow<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">********************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Walking by Inner Vision \u00a0Journal &#8211; Writing Assignment #8:<\/p>\n<p>A couple of years ago, on a day just like this one, I wrote a poem about winter. \u00a0I was seated at my computer, that day, and looking outside my window as I wrote this poem. \u00a0What do you think I <em><strong>saw<\/strong> <\/em>that morning? \u00a0What did I<em><strong> feel<\/strong><\/em>?<\/p>\n<p>Spend a little bit of time today outside. No matter what the weather is, you will have an experience with nature. \u00a0Maybe you want to take your camera along, or a note pad, to record what you are experiencing. \u00a0Now, if you want to do it, you can take your photo and\/or your notes, and create a FREE FORM POEM from them. \u00a0No need to worry about rhyming ends of lines, no meed to think much about formal poetry forms. Just have some fun today with what you see and feel, smell, touch, taste, etc. \u00a0OH, and be SURE to use your IMAGINATION and let a few pieces of information from your mind and spirit enter into your poem, too!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>***<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here is the Free Form POEM I wrote while peering out the Winter Window in my home one morning:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">***<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>Morning Hour<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the early morning hour<\/p>\n<p>a nippy breeze<\/p>\n<p>wrapped \u00a0around my bare feet<\/p>\n<p>like \u00a0soft gray cashmere clouds.<\/p>\n<p>My own reflection<\/p>\n<p>slowly materialized-<\/p>\n<p>I was exposed, naked,<\/p>\n<p>on a clear icy glass<\/p>\n<p>surface.<\/p>\n<p>Outside the frozen windowpane<\/p>\n<p>an icicle boundary<\/p>\n<p>surrounded my view<\/p>\n<p>of the aging Douglas Fir.<\/p>\n<p>I turned for a closer look<\/p>\n<p>through the silent porthole<\/p>\n<p>Quick movements<\/p>\n<p>in the shadow<\/p>\n<p>revealed<\/p>\n<p>one tiny \u00a0ruffled bird,<\/p>\n<p>a solo performer<\/p>\n<p>hunkered down<\/p>\n<p>deep<\/p>\n<p>on snow-clogged branches.<\/p>\n<p>Inside this room,<\/p>\n<p>a blizzard<\/p>\n<p>a scattering of words still lingered<\/p>\n<p>Waited \u00a0to be gathered,<\/p>\n<p>In a winter bouquet-written on a page,<\/p>\n<p>in spite of the bitter cold<\/p>\n<p>We have been here<\/p>\n<p>for a thousand years<\/p>\n<p>In the early morning hour.<\/p>\n<p>***<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>P.S.: I would LOVE to read your poem.
