What is the biggest part of your body?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n My\u00a0 brain – I’ve been stuffing\u00a0 it since birth on August 27, 1943, and I feel like\u00a0\u00a0my brain (memory) \u00a0is bottomless. My daughter told me my mind is like a steel trap.\u00a0\u00a0This kind of memory \u00a0means I may forgive you but I will never forget what you did. Just sayin’<\/p>\n 2. What is the best bad decision you have ever made?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n I seldom ever pass up an opportunity that is good – but \u00a0in 1993, I passed up the wonderful opportunity to be the Artist in Residence at\u00a0Yosemite<\/a> National \u00a0Park.\u00a0\u00a0I was selected for a month-long residency to create tapestries from imagery and \u00a0materials in the Yosemite landscape.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Photo: “Party on the Allegheny River,” \u00a0 Fiber Art, with Natural materials, \u00a0by Lynda McKinney Lambert.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In a stupid moment of bad decision-making, \u00a0I gave\u00a0 up\u00a0 the residency\u00a0 in California to accept an executive director position at an \u00a0art institute in Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n I’ve always regretted that I did not spend that month at Yosemite because I never went \u00a0back to live in California again.\u00a0\u00a0I moved across the country to\u00a0 take the position.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The good part is that \u00a0by taking the \u00a0job in PA, \u00a0it opened up another OPPORTUNITY\u00a0 4 years later –\u00a0\u00a0I got a position that I had prepared myself to do through 12 years of full-time university studies –<\/p>\n <\/p>\n My PLAN A for my life was to be \u00a0a professor of fine arts and humanities.\u00a0\u00a0After 4 years of administrative duties at the art institute, I got my dream job. \u00a0I’d sill\u00a0 love to see Yosemite again though.\u00a0 Things always work out when you pray for them to fall into place even when you make bad choices sometimes.<\/p>\n 3. What is the silliest reason you got into a fight with someone?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Someone swore at me – and tried to block my path as I was coming down a stairway. Big mistake on his part.<\/p>\n 4. What is your favorite thing about your best friend?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n I’ve had a number of “best friends,” over the years – but overall, it is a person who is upbeat and positive,\u00a0 knowledgeable about literature and fine art, and loves to learn \u00a0new things.<\/p>\n I avoid “GASSERS.”\u00a0\u00a0 They are needy people who rob you of \u00a0time and energy and talk constantly about things you don’t \u00a0“GIVE A S___\u00a0 (fill in the blank) ” \u00a0about (aka G.A.S.). I can spot a GASSER real QUICK \u00a0– and I run the other way. Be on the lookout for people who want to do nothing but waste other people’s time and energy. You don’t need them in your life.<\/p>\n 5. If 5 men take about 3 hours to dig 3 holes, how long will it take for 2 men to dig half a hole?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Long enough for one man to open his mouth to speak – about a second.\u00a0 Repeat: You don’t need this person in your life! This is a question you done GAS about. \u00a0See my response to Question 4.<\/p>\n Bonus<\/strong>: Would you rather be itchy or sticky for the rest of your life?<\/span><\/p>\n Definitely not itchy – I usually get poison ivy all over me every summer because I pull it out of my gardens – so I know what itchy all over is like. But, sticky might be OK, b ecasue usually if I am sticky, all I have to do is wash the sticky substance off.
