<\/a><\/p>\n1. How do you know if you are connecting with another person?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nI don’t know. It can be years later before we \u00a0really know\u00a0 if a connection was made \u00a0with another person. I think of it as sending out ships. Some ships return quickly, others come back to us after many years. As a retired professor, I am often surprised when a former student contacts me to say how they were impacted by what they learned from me or how much they loved a class they were in with me. Connections are not always apparent at the time you are in\u00a0 direct contact with a person.<\/p>\n

2. To be beautiful means. . .<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nThere is an implied comparison with something\u00a0 else that is completely opposite of beautiful.<\/p>\n
Beauty is a value judgement.\u00a0 Our purpose in life is to be a reflection of our Creator – and when we are doing that, we walk in beauty.<\/p>\n
3. Do you spend a lot of time keeping up with what is going on.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nI’m interested in what is going on with people I know personally.\u00a0\u00a0I \u00a0often send little reminders that I am \u00a0thinking of them that day.\u00a0 I love to send out little surprise packages that arrive in their mailbox. I set aside days when I can focus on doing this and it is a great joy to send them out. People need to know that someone is thinking about them and sending them love.<\/p>\n
4. True or False. You feel that your friends have more rewarding experiences in their lives than you.\u00a0 <\/span>False\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n5. During covid19 pandemic do you feel more swamped by your responsibilities than before the pandemic?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\nBefore, during, and after, I will remain the same person who is responsible for my time and the activities and challenges \u00a0in my life every day.<\/p>\n
How I “feel” is totally in my control.\u00a0 My attitude is up to me.\u00a0 It’s up to me to set the schedule for my day and to manage the time. I never permit fear & panic to impact my thinking – I still love to get up in the morning and say, “Today, I get to….”\u00a0 and walk into the new day with a joyful spirit of thankfulness for life.\u00a0 Instead of my morning at the gym, I am at work in my flower gardens.\u00a0 I read only positive and enriching books\u00a0 and I stay focused on my purpose in life.<\/p>\n

First, I think \u00a0I’ll go outside and \u00a0water the flower gardens. There is no rain in our forcast – I asked Siri about that!<\/p>\n
