1. It\u2019s okay if you don\u2019t wear any\u00a0<\/span> stilettos or high heel shoes.<\/p>\n

Disregard the high-fashion photos of sexy women wearing them.\u00a0 That is a lie – there is nothing beautiful or elegant about them.\u00a0 Be sensible and wear shoes that are comfortable and enjoyable.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. What on earth are you here for?<\/span><\/p>\n

This is a question that many people will never be able to answer, and it is sad to realize that. It is about who we are inside \u00a0– our IMAGE – what we carry in our mind\u00a0 tells us who we are.<\/p>\n

The term IMAGE \u00a0has<\/b>\u00a0its roots in\u00a0Genesis<\/b>\u00a01:27, wherein “God<\/b>\u00a0created man in his own image. . .” This scriptural passage\u00a0does<\/b>\u00a0not\u00a0mean<\/b>\u00a0that\u00a0God is<\/b>\u00a0in\u00a0human<\/b>\u00a0form, but rather, that\u00a0humans<\/b>\u00a0are in the image of\u00a0God<\/b>\u00a0in their moral, spiritual, and intellectual nature.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I am here for MAKING ART, WRITING POEMS and STORIES, and LOVING PEOPLE.<\/p>\n

3. What has been the best day of your life?<\/span><\/p>\n

The morning I arrived in Austria, 1991, for the Mozart Festival – the year-long celebration of\u00a0 the \u00a0200th anniversary of his death. This was a gift \u00a0I gave myself for completing my MFA degree at West Virginia University.\u00a0 It opened the door that enabled me to live in Austria every summer and teach my course, “Drawing and Writing in Austria,” offered each year to students at Geneva College, and from other schools around the world.<\/p>\n

I wrote my first book\u00a0 Concerti: Psalms for the Pilgrimage,<\/a>\u00a0 during summer travels.<\/p>\n

MORE \u00a0stories inspired by MOZART, and\u00a0 life-experiences\u00a0 are in my book, Walking by Inner Vision: Stories & Poems<\/a><\/p>\n

4. Are you ordinary or extraordinary? Why?<\/span><\/p>\n

No hesitation – nothing ordinary about me, and never was \u00a0anything ordinary about me from my birth to the present.\u00a0\u00a0It\u00a0 is PLAN A, all the way.<\/p>\n

I AM BORN TO WIN<\/a> (Zig Ziglar, thank you!)\u00a0 I plan to succeed in anything I do and I never quit – I’m self-motivated and always “ON.”<\/p>\n

5. How do you want to be described by your friends?<\/span><\/p>\n

My highest attribute is generosity.\u00a0 I love being \u00a0a person who is generous and dedicated to the areas of life that are\u00a0 enriching. \u00a0\u00a0My focus is on \u00a0the academic institutions that gave me life-enhancing opportunities as a student; \u00a0animal support groups that make a difference;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and Christian\u00a0\u00a0ministries \u00a0that save the lives of children.<\/p>\n

Bonus<\/strong>: After a breakup, would you rather be alone or surrounded by friends?<\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve been married for fifty-nine years to my high-school sweetheart \u00a0– so a breakup is nothing I even think about.\u00a0 Fidelity and life-long commitment in marriage is never out of style.<\/p>\n
