I have GIFTS to share with my readers today.<\/span><\/h3>\n

<\/h2>\n

My ONE WORD for 2020\u00a0 is \u00a0“GIFTS.”<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

On New Years Day, each year, I select ONE WORD to live by for the entire year.\u00a0 My theme for 2020 is GIFTS.<\/p>\n

Selecting ONE WORD for the year is the most exciting way to live in every aspect of my life.<\/p>\n

That word takes on life and becomes my CORE theme – G
\nIFTS – both giving and receiving GIFTS.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Giving and receiving \u00a0are equally important.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0 received many gifts in 2020.<\/p>\n

I\u00a0 gave\u00a0 \u00a0many gifts to friends, family, and organizations I support.<\/p>\n

GIFTS \u00a0are important ~<\/span><\/h2>\n

Followers \u00a0of Jesus\u00a0 understand that we are to be SERVANT LEADERS.\u00a0 We are often the opposite of what the world says is the path to success.\u00a0 We seek guidance from God first of all.\u00a0 If we don’t seek to know his PLAN for us first, then we go off the\u00a0 God-directed path and can become very confused and\u00a0 move about in uncertainty.\u00a0\u00a0 We are servants who “seek first the Kingdom of God.”\u00a0 The first thing I ask for each morning is “What will you have me do today?\u00a0\u00a0 I need\u00a0 your guidance and direction for every moment of this day.”<\/p>\n

We understand the importance of seeking excellence in all we do – as a gift to our Creator.<\/p>\n

Yet, at the same time, we are to be servants – Servant Leaders.<\/p>\n

A Christian\u00a0\u00a0learns there is\u00a0 spiritual \u00a0value in giving and receiving gifts.<\/p>\n

We SOW and we REAP<\/span><\/h3>\n

We grow in fellowship with Jesus as we practice reciprocity..<\/p>\n

ADVENT<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

Christians\u00a0 observe the \u00a0four Sunday’s before Christmas by lighting ADVENT Candles \u00a0for each week.<\/p>\n

On Christmas Day we light the white candle, which is the Jesus Candle.<\/p>\n

On Christmas Day, we have a group of five candles as we celebrate\u00a0 Advent.\u00a0 \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0 Christmas Day \u00a0is the beginning of Christmastide ~<\/span><\/h2>\n

At this time, just 2 days after Christmas, the company has left, the dinners are history, and we have a nice break from the daily grind during the next 12 days.<\/p>\n

This is known as CHRISTMASTIDE\u00a0 (Christmas Time) , <\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

Twelvetide (for 12 \u00a0Days of Christmas), and Yuletide.<\/span> <\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

Christmastide begins on Christmas Eve as \u00a0Christians\u00a0\u00a0celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Messiah. the Promised One of God.<\/p>\n

What does the song , “The 12 Days of Christmas” \u00a0mean?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Giving someone all the gifts in the song would be … pricey.<\/h3>\n

Instead, let’s give our GIFTS of LOVE to each other and to the world.<\/p>\n
