I would love to have this book read by everyone in the world. What a different world we would have if Dr. Grandin’s way of viewing life was appreciated by everyone.<\/p>\n
Dr. Grandin created a masterpiece with supporting evidence for her thesis which is laid down at the beginning of the book.<\/p>\n
I must say that this book is so refreshing to read because it was written by a person who sees and contemplates the details and nuances of the world in PICTURES –<\/p>\n
Temple is a VISUAL LEARNER. She is that rare person who THINKS in pictures instead of WORDS.<\/p>\n
What a difference it makes to read the work of a writer – one who first witnesses in photos\/pictures – long before forming any words. Temple speaks of the differences in ways of thinking and of actually seeing the details that cannot be found or discovered through words. She gives very good examples of the difference in seeing between the 2 types of thinkers\/learners. She cites a number of academic studies and laboratory experiments as illustrations to uphold her theory.<\/p>\n
