GARDENING – One Little Piece at a Time<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

In-between the rain and thunder storms that we experienced in May and into the first 2 days of June, I’ve been working outside to make our little gardens more attractive.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Zen Meditation Garden is in \u00a0the center of this space and it is flourishing.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I wanted to begin working on the spaces that surround the Zen Meditation Garden so that it all looked a lot nicer this summer. But, it seemed like an overwhelming project at first.<\/p>\n

Eventually, I started to think in a different way about it.<\/p>\n

What will happen IF I WORK only ONE HOUR TODAY?<\/p>\n

Yes! After one hour of work, I looked back and saw the wonderful progress I had made.<\/p>\n

That became my motivation – just think of this as a one hour project.<\/p>\n

ONE HOUR AT A TIME.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

I focused on only one small place instead of the entire space.<\/p>\n

This way, I could do it.\u00a0 I just kept my mind on that one small space at a time.<\/p>\n

As with any new project, I feel overwhelmed at the beginning. But, by keeping my focus on one small part,, things move along very well.\u00a0 I am satisfied \u00a0at what I accomplished and this motivates me to tackle the next small space.<\/p>\n

and a little bit of money<\/span><\/h3>\n

the garden now looks lovely! <\/span><\/h3>\n

2 flats of red marigolds – 42.00<\/p>\n

6 bags of brown mulch – 15.00<\/p>\n

Total for plants & mulch= $57.00<\/strong><\/h3>\n
