Robert Bly \u00a0taught me to look deep inside of me to find the poetry. Each poet stretched my imagination and challenged me to pursue a life of poetry.\u00a0 My journey with these poets began in 1985 when I entered the BFA program, and continues to this day.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve written quite a bit on Robert Bly&#8217;s poetry and I have done academic conference presentations on Robert Bly and his writings.\u00a0\u00a0In one \u00a0conference presentation, my \u00a0paper was \u00a0published in the book,<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>The Sibling Society &#8211;<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>The Robert Bly Colloquium<\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n<p>essays presented at the colloquial at Kent State University.\u00a0 Editor for this book is Terry White, from KSU.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I will give you links to 2 of Robert Bly&#8217;s poems which are favorites of mine.<\/p>\n<p>You can go to that link and read the poem and you can listen to the poem as well.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy your visit with one of my all-time favorite poets. Robert Bly is a translator as well as one of America&#8217;s best poets.<\/p>\n<p>A highlight of my career was when Robert Bly attended the colloquium\u00a0 when I was presenting.
