<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Glass wind chimes<\/p>\n hang<\/p>\n immovable<\/p>\n stiff<\/p>\n shrouded in new snow<\/p>\n March arrived like a capricious cat<\/p>\n crouched<\/p>\n hunkered down, bent over<\/p>\n spring-loaded, squat<\/p>\n Changeable!<\/p>\n Early this morning<\/p>\n I stepped cautiously through deep snow<\/p>\n March is the time to follow new dreams<\/p>\n that arrived in the flurry<\/p>\n of late winter snowstorms and blizzards<\/p>\n quietly<\/p>\n wordless<\/p>\n yet surging<\/p>\n inside, beneath layers of trees<\/p>\n my awakened<\/p>\n awareness heard songs<\/p>\n crows called<\/p>\n across the grey sky<\/p>\n Sharp, staccato<\/p>\n melodies<\/p>\n lyrical<\/p>\n red-breasted robins sang duets<\/p>\n together<\/p>\n hidden<\/p>\n somewhere beyond, out of sight<\/p>\n March arrived like a lion today<\/p>\n swept away my doubts.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Photo by Lynda McKinney Lambert.<\/p>\n –<\/p>\n This poem, provided \u00a0today through the courtesy of western Pennsylvania author and artist,<\/p>\n Lynda McKinney Lambert.<\/p>\n Copyright, 2015.
