___My Thoughts<\/strong><\/h3>\n

September is a transition month.<\/p>\n

TODAY: –<\/h4>\n

Let’s begin to step away from the summer season, and move towards the forthcoming fall season on the meteorological calendar. This calendar divides the year into fixed three-month blocks.based an annual temperature cycles. I am fortunate to live in Pennsylvania because the shifts in temperature are so apparent.\u00a0 We are surrounded daily with signs and signals of the changes of season and I\u00a0 write many\u00a0 stories and poems to celebrate the seasons and how we react or respond to the changes.<\/p>\n

In my book_Walking by Inner Vision: Stories & Poems<\/strong>, READERS\u00a0 can travel with me on a year-long journey\u00a0 through twelve months with stories, memoirs, photography and poems.\u00a0 The book opens in January, and we travel month by month, through the year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Fall will arrive on September 22.<\/h4>\n

I am anticipating the next\u00a0 3 weeks to relax and set my mind on being thankful for each final day of summer. I think of September as a long good-bye as the temperature begins changing to a cooler direction that will arrive in the fall. For me, it’s a time for taking rests in the afternoons on my Zero-gravity Bliss Reclining Chairs on my porch.<\/p>\n

\u00a0My “one word” for 2026 is…<\/h4>\n

365 Days<\/strong><\/h4>\n

I remind myself that on this day of posting my article on September, we will have only 105\u00a0 more days remaining in 2026.<\/h4>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This week, I water all of my potted plants\u00a0 every morning, to give them one final boost of energy and nutrition to keep them as healthy as possible during this time when they are beginning to shift\u00a0 into the cooler days ahead.\u00a0 As of right now, everything is still flourishing, and the colors are so brilliant in the many different pots of flowers on the wrap-around porch, and in the hanging baskets outside.<\/p>\n

I see warning signs in the beautiful geraniums, as the leaves begin to turn yellow.\u00a0 Yet,\u00a0 the fuchsia flowers are still flourishing as the leaves begin to change. I make the rounds examining the plants a couple of times a day.\u00a0 I carry water from the patio on the back side of the house, to the porches. I like the exercise and it makes me feel like I am helping the plants and flowers to keep blooming as long as possible before the night time temperatures begin to force them to stop blooming.<\/p>\n

It won’t be long until the grass will begin to disappear beneath falling leaves.\u00a0 Little by little, the various plants and trees will begin their process of shedding leaves.<\/p>\n

But NOW,\u00a0 \u00a0I stop to think about BLOOMING!<\/h3>\n

I remember that I, too, am experiencing the changes just like the summer flowers and the leaves preparing to drop from the trees.<\/h3>\n

I’ll keep right on blooming, too.\u00a0 I remember this quote, “Bloom where you are planted.”<\/h3>\n

While we don’t have the origin of that quote, we do have some scriptures that give us a similar message in the Bible.\u00a0 We are to use our talents and gives to live a productive life and to do our best work no matter our circumstances.<\/p>\n

The Bible shows that changing seasons in nature and life are controlled by God and serve a specific purpose.\u00a0 Keep in mind that nature is created by God, and controlled by God.\u00a0 Every step we take when we are outside is a witness to the love of our God who created us to thrive in the landscape He created for us.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
