_My Thoughts<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Expectations –<\/h3>\n

Our life reflects our expectations.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Today, I have my author’s hat on as I focus on the expectations I discover when one of my books is taking shape and turning an idea into a book that is real and sent out into the world.<\/p>\n

Each step determines where we are walking on our path in life.<\/p>\n

Choose wisely.<\/p>\n

Our steps are to be ordered by God.<\/p>\n

I’ve observed that when U expect good things and speak about expectations\u00a0 based on God’s guidance, I can confidently receive good things.\u00a0 I avoid listening to anyone who speaks negative words, complains, rants, or speaks discouraging\u00a0 thoughts. Murmuring is near the top of the list, for determining a bad outcome for us.\u00a0 \u00a0Negative\u00a0 speech\u00a0 will bring bushels of disappointments and sorrows into our life. Guard your mind and your ear-gates. Listen instead for the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit to guide your day.<\/p>\n

In the early stage of creating a new book, the vision of what it will become\u00a0 is nearly invisible to me.<\/p>\n

I don’t yet see it.<\/p>\n

Instead,\u00a0 I have a little tingling feeling inside of me. It’s in my spirit already, long before my mind knows what is going on.\u00a0 My spirit is where God shows me his plan.<\/p>\n

It feels like a droplet of an idea. With the experiences of publishing 6 books,\u00a0 i know that this creation will grow, and mature.\u00a0 My expectations evolve as the new book emerges each day. It flutters in my body, seeking life through my hands on the keyboard.<\/p>\n

The book will go through several stages of writing, editing, creating drafts, discussions with the editor and layout design.\u00a0 Regardless of the book’s content, the process is always the same path that we follow, as we move closer to the day the book is published.<\/p>\n

The first exciting day after the publication of a new book is when I walk outside onto my porch and see the box that was just delivered.\u00a0 I take a deep breath, and\u00a0 stand up taller, and a smile lights up my face.\u00a0 There it is!\u00a0 The box that contains my first copies of my new book.<\/p>\n

The box is heavy, yet,\u00a0 I manage to pic it up and hold the box close to my body.\u00a0 The weight is balanced as I reach out to open the door to take my treasure into the house.\u00a0 Expectations rise up in my spirit as I begin to open the box.\u00a0 The light at the end of this tunnel begins to shine, as I open the first copy of my new book.<\/p>\n

I am thankful for the blessings that I receive each time a reader\u00a0 takes the time to write a\u00a0 thoughtful book review. Sometimes, a reader from another country far away reads my book, and writes a review.\u00a0 It is an affirmation of my expectations that my book will touch the hearts of some who read with curiosity. I\u00a0 am blessed\u00a0 When the book is published, I dedicate it to God and ask him to take the book to those readers who will\u00a0 also be blessed as they read my words.\u00a0 I ask God, our Creator,\u00a0 to open the spirit\u00a0 to discover and receive the gift of creation that is embedded in the text of my stories and poems.<\/p>\n

Below, I am sharing a book review from a reader in India who purchased my book on Amazon.\u00a0 I pause to thank God for his interest and appreciation of my work.\u00a0 My greatest joy is hearing from readers who blessed me with words of support and encouragement.<\/p>\n

This book introduced me to a form of poetry called haiku. This book, a collection of haiku-style poems, is derived from the author\u2019s intimate reflections on life from a Christian perspective. The author uses subtle elements of nature in her poetry to describe her feelings, which are lost, forgotten, or invisible. Faith in God guides her in every aspect of life. She writes poems in her peaceful prayer garden using the firsthand experience of nature. She finds joy every day when she is surrounded by vibrant elements of nature. This book, if read slowly and intentionally, will certainly touch you deeply. I recommend this book to everyone who reads poetry or wants to try one.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

I am believing that 2026 will be a year that for discovering the expectations that God has for you. Don’t live a life outside of God. Wait until you hear from God, to learn what expectations he has in mind for you.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Read it often until you begin to understand the goodness and expectations\u00a0 of God for your life. I promise you, this chapter\u00a0 will begin to rise up in your soul, and you will recognize God’s voice cheering you on.<\/p>\n

_Daily Action Plan<\/h3>\n

1_Read Romans 8, each day of this week.\u00a0 Write down what is being revealed to you each time you read this chapter.\u00a0 You should experience something NEW with each day’s reading.Pay attention to the new information that you are discovering daily.<\/p>\n

2_ Pray for God to show you his plan for you this year. Ask God to show you what his will is for you.\u00a0 He does have a plan for your life, and he will speak to you as you begin to listen for his wisdom. Practicing LISTENING for God’s still, small voice.<\/p>\n

3. If you are beginning a new project, stop to pray about it and believe that God will lead you as you consider your expectations for the future of your project.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I am a Watchman in my little spot of Heaven on earth in Western Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

I live in the Village of Wurtemburg, where I watch and pray for all travelers\u00a0 on the 16-mile stretch of highway, Route 488 from Ellwood City, to Portersville, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

I also watch and pray for all who are traveling on the rural, 2-mile country road, between Rt. 488 to Route 288 \u2013 via The River Road. I live along the side of this road, overlooking the Connoquenessing Creek.<\/p>\n

May your journey today be<\/p>\n

blessed with EXPECTATIONS of JOY and conversations with our Father God.<\/p>\n

What inspired me to begin writing blog posts about BLESSINGS?<\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0 November 2025, I participated in a 21-day challenge to write three blessings each day (for 21 days) I began to see blessings in my life every day.\u00a0 Perhaps blessings were always there, but at this time I became aware of them because I was thinking about writing them down.\u00a0 When we can write down important things in our daily life, we can grow significantly in our spiritual walk with God.<\/p>\n

This new awareness of daily blessings has become a template for living.<\/p>\n

Thus, my awareness has led me to share what I am learning and receiving. I have discovered that my days are so much better since I began to look forward to those discoveries.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Professor Lynda McKinney Lambert taught fine art and humanities at a Christian college in Western Pennsylvania, She was a tenured professor, an actively exhibiting artist, and a published author.<\/em><\/p>\n

I created exciting courses across the disciplines \u2013 Art \u2013<\/em>
\nEnglish\u00a0 Literature \u2013 Humanities.<\/em><\/p>\n

My courses were taught on campus during the spring and fall semesters.\u00a0 In the summer, I taught in Salzburg, Austria for a month of travel and studies.<\/em><\/p>\n

My passions in academia are poetry and fine art.\u00a0 I author books and I create\u00a0 fine art in several mediums \u2013 Painting\u00a0 and\u00a0 Fiber Art.<\/em><\/p>\n

How I Found HOPEFULNESS in Unexpected Changes:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I discovered a new life after sudden sight loss. For the next two years, I learned to see the world and my place in it in an entirely new way.\u00a0 I completed training for Personal Adjustment to Blindness, It took two years of training and lots of challenging work to learn to read and write using adaptive technologies for the blind.\u00a0 Ad the months went by, God was showing me that my creative life would continue,, but in some new ways.<\/em><\/p>\n

I began to write Divinely inspired life lessons<\/em><\/p>\n

New experiences and God-directed Opportunities<\/em><\/p>\n

New DISCOVERIES\u00a0 to\u00a0 share with the world<\/em><\/p>\n

A NEW SEASON on the Narrow Path with Jesus.<\/em><\/p>\n
