Japanese Yellow Grass \u2013 Help is on the Way\u00a0 \u2013 Spiritual House Cleaning<\/h6>\n

Day 15 of the\u00a0 21-day challenge.<\/p>\n

I share 3 blessings each day from my\u00a0 personal life experiences in western Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n

\n

Blessing 1:\u00a0 Japanese Yellow Grass<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n

As the weather gets colder, the beautiful Japanese Yellow Grass is changing. The strong yellow-green shade of summertime has turned dull and pale.\u00a0 It feels lifeless when I reach out and touch it now. Life has departed from the once robust and strong foilage of the plant.\u00a0 It droops, and soon it will collapse and disappear for the winter.\u00a0 The gardener will come on Monday to begin the fall preparations in my gardens.\u00a0 These once-beautiful plants will be cut down but the roots will be gathering energy in the wintry earth, and when the time is right, next spring, the plant will begin to grow again.<\/p>\n

This reminds me that I, too, will wither away and die in the future.<\/p>\n

I am reminded of our mortality as I read the passage in my Bible:<\/p>\n

Isaiah 40:6-8<\/a>:<\/strong> “All flesh is grass, and all its glory like the flower of the field. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever”.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/header>\n

\n

Blessing 2: Help is on the way<\/strong><\/h3>\n

My daughter, Salome’ and her daughter, Angel, will arrive soon to help get my home ready for the new carpeting that will be installed on Monday.\u00a0 I keep my focus on the end result\u00a0 of this physical house cleaning work and how fresh and new all the rooms will feel\u00a0 after the new carpeting is installed.<\/p>\n

I am so thankful for my daughter and granddaughter for their willingness to help me get all of this completed in time for Monday’s big day of renewal.\u00a0 I keep my mind focused on what\u00a0 all of the hard work and planning will become in a few more days.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/header>\n

Blessing 3: Spiritual House Cleaning<\/h3>\n

I am blessed to have this time of\u00a0 spiritual house cleansing and cleaning out the years of accumulations\u00a0 that I now know are soul ties that are undesirable and no longer have a place in my home.<\/p>\n

Once I recognized these things, I’ve felt released from them and actually feel very happy to carry them out\u00a0 with the garbage.\u00a0 Removing these objects\u00a0 that I once treasured,\u00a0 has\u00a0 changed the atmosphere in my home, and put a smile on my face.\u00a0 There is a very physical feeling of freedom when we release\u00a0 those things that are spiritually harmful to us.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
