Physical Therapy\u00a0 – Christy’s\u00a0 Family Restaurant\u00a0 – Carousel Poets<\/h6>\n

On Day 7 of the\u00a0 21-day challenge.<\/p>\n

I share 3 blessings that\u00a0 touch my heart and enrich my life.<\/p>\n

Blessing 1: Physical Therapy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\n

\u00a0I’ve been visiting a physical therapist\u00a0 each Friday morning for a few weeks.\u00a0 He has a practice that is only 1\/2 mile from my home.\u00a0 \u00a0How convenient that is, since my granddaughter also lives\u00a0 beside that business and she drives across the bridge to my home to pick me up and take me to my therapy session.\u00a0 It has greatly helped me recover from a serious injury earlier this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Blessing 2: Christy’s\u00a0 Family Restaurant<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0 Another local blessing is the diner-style restaurant, Christy’s Family Restaurant\u00a0 that has been in business near Ellwood City for decades.<\/p>\n

It is about 2 miles from my home.\u00a0 I had brunch there with my granddaughter after my physical therapy treatment.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/header>\n

Blessing 3:\u00a0 Carousel Poets Group<\/h3>\n<\/header>\n
\n
\u00a0At the end of this year, the Carousel\u00a0 Poets Group\u00a0 of six BOE poets, will complete 2 years of writing together each month,\u00a0 \u00a0We choose\u00a0 topics that\u00a0 are challenging and fun.\u00a0<\/header>\n
<\/header>\n
\u00a0We each take a month or two during the year, to give a prompt or\u00a0 writing assignment for the group to use as a focus for a poem that month.\u00a0 just about every poem I have written during the two years has been published!\u00a0 Our little group began when we took a workshop together with Cindy Bousquet Harris.\u00a0 After our workshop ended we decided we would keep meeting and writing\u00a0 \u00a0on projects because we all got along well..\u00a0 It has been a very inspiring time together for us all, I think.\u00a0<\/header>\n

I don’t have to go very far from home, to\u00a0 find a good physical therapist, delicious home-style cooking, and companionship with other poets from different states via the internet and phone meetings.<\/p>\n
