Day 4 Topics:\u00a0 Voting – Angel – Trash<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Day 4 of my\u00a0 \u00a021-day challenge.<\/p>\n

I share 3 blessings that\u00a0 touch my heart and enrich my life.<\/p>\n

Blessing 1:\u00a0 Voting<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\n

I voted\u00a0 via mail in ballot. I don’t drive any more, and I am thankful that I can cast my vote by a Mail-in ballot.<\/p>\n

My sister-in-law, Debby, visited me over the weekend and she helped me fill out my ballot.\u00a0 It was delivered to the county court house.\u00a0 As an American citizen it is important for us to pay attention to the beliefs of each candidate and evaluate them according to our core values. I watch carefully to the presentations of the candidates, and I listen to hear what they are promoting.\u00a0 This morning, I can sit back and enjoy watching the TV and see how the voting is going\u00a0 in different states all over America.\u00a0 And, I say “God Bless America today.<\/p>\n

We have a list of things that are most important for us to live by: The Ten Commandments. As an American, I vote for candidates that uphold our belief in the eternal God, and we\u00a0 stand on our history, ,\u00a0 In God we trust\u00a0 is a\u00a0 foundational\u00a0 belief and that\u00a0 phrase emphases the foundational of who we are as a nation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

 <\/p>\n

Blessing 2: Angel<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

I am thankful to my granddaughter, Angel, for coming to my home yesterday when I was away all day.\u00a0 She cleaned my entire house, and when I came home after a long and tedious day of waiting\u00a0 in a doctor’s office for about 5 hours, it was an enormous blessing to come home and relax.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/header>\n

In addition to\u00a0 cleaning my home nearly every week, Angel\u00a0 provides transportation to me for visits to the vet with my cats, and getting groceries as needed. She runs\u00a0 packages to the Post Office, and pops in often to play with my cats, or just hang out for a while.\u00a0 Angel is a mother of 3 children, and<\/p>\n

she is my only family that lives in this city.\u00a0 Angel really is MY ANGEL. She has battled breast cancer for over 1 year at this time, and just this week was released by her surgeon, to return to her work.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\n<\/header>\n
\n

Blessing 3: Trash<\/h3>\n<\/header>\n
\n
I am blessed to have the trash and recycling carts picked up on Tuesday evening.\u00a0 This evening I will\u00a0 wheel the two carts to the curb. I say “curb,” but there is no curb here on a rural country road.\u00a0 One cart is blue (recycling), and one is grey (trash).Usually, before morning, I hear the garbage truck out there picking\u00a0 up the containers. I appreciate the men who are up all night long, gathering up our garbage every week.<\/p>\n
