\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>I recollect my early Sanctuary<\/p>\n

photos of Grandma and me<\/p>\n

beside her summer garden<\/p>\n

pink roses she cherished<\/p>\n

vintage black and white moments<\/p>\n

smiling, relaxed, secure.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Mom\u2019s snapshots reveal secure<\/p>\n

family, home, sanctuary<\/p>\n

birthday parties, rare moments<\/p>\n

our chickens, a dog, and me<\/p>\n

a birthday cake I cherished<\/p>\n

standing beside Dad\u2019s Garden.<\/p>\n

moon flowers, zinnias, marigolds in our garden<\/p>\n

followed Dad\u2019s footprints, I was secure<\/p>\n

watering the seeds, we cherished<\/p>\n

our backyard, a private sanctuary<\/p>\n

two brothers, a sister, and me.<\/p>\n

We cultivated rare moments.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

years of accumulated moments<\/p>\n

life lessons learned in our garden<\/p>\n

concealed respites for me<\/p>\n

little breaks felt secure<\/p>\n

sojourns in my childhood sanctuary<\/p>\n

taught by parents I cherished<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

children flourish when cherished<\/p>\n

mature and develop in unique moments<\/p>\n

Today, I linger in a natural sanctuary<\/p>\n

planting flowers in my garden<\/p>\n

knowing I am secure<\/p>\n

beneath shade of ginkgo tree.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

decades have passed for me<\/p>\n

Yet, when my favorite cherished<\/p>\n

Daisies \u00a0bloom in summertime, I feel secure<\/p>\n

knowing that the rapid moments<\/p>\n

pass silently in my garden<\/p>\n

faithful cultivation \u00a0of my sanctuary<\/p>\n

As for me, I treasure the moments<\/p>\n

I have cherished my labors in life\u2019s garden<\/p>\n

secure in my sacred sanctuary<\/p>\n
