Lyrical melodies are new each day<\/p>\n
expressive movements hiding<\/p>\n
deep inside rhododendron bush<\/p>\n
male warblers singing<\/p>\n
complex songs<\/p>\n
practicing, impressing<\/p>\n
females as courting begins..<\/p>\n

Hardy holly bushes<\/p>\n
resilient deep green leaves<\/p>\n
sharp, thorny edges<\/p>\n
survived wintry ice storms<\/p>\n
clusters of red berries<\/p>\n
ripe for Bluejay\u2019s spring dining.<\/p>\n

and handsome Black-winged Blackbirds<\/p>\n
return for annual courtship<\/p>\n
rituals, nest-building, and family<\/p>\n
obligations.<\/p>\n

She writes poetry and personal nonfiction essays. She currently has six published books available at all retail booksellers. Her artworks have appeared in international exhibitions, including Japan, New Guinea, Austria, and the United States.\u00a0 Lynda retired from her position as Professor of Fine Art and Humanities at Geneva College in 2008 due to profound sight loss.
