This Pi Poem is in celebration of Pi Day – March 14, 2025

I Wonder – a 41 line Pi Poem<\/em><\/h6>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Poem:\u00a0 without the syllable count. on each line:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
I wonder<\/em><\/strong><\/h5>\n

 <\/p>\n

I wonder<\/p>\n

how<\/p>\n

I can write Pi<\/p>\n

verse<\/p>\n

from numerical<\/p>\n

digits , when facts occasionally<\/p>\n

vanish<\/p>\n

difficult to obtain<\/p>\n

quests often take me<\/p>\n

off the grid<\/p>\n

I slip off \u00a0Pi path<\/p>\n

lost in tangled strings of cyphers<\/p>\n

Can you offer some\u00a0 useful advice?<\/p>\n

Is authoring forty-line poems<\/p>\n

possible without\u00a0 map of landscape?<\/p>\n

consider<\/p>\n

I might<\/p>\n

fail again<\/p>\n

lose\u00a0 count, or\u00a0 get somewhat\u00a0 confused,<\/p>\n

information<\/p>\n

overload overwhelms<\/p>\n

my brain<\/p>\n

I would like to resolve<\/p>\n

challenge\u00a0 today<\/p>\n

before\u00a0 I<\/p>\n

begin my<\/p>\n

next job assignment for today<\/p>\n

fall weather<\/p>\n

becomes<\/p>\n

cooler with low temperatures<\/p>\n

frost turns\u00a0 green grass stiff, sterling silver<\/p>\n

slippery sidewalks<\/p>\n

melting<\/p>\n

in today\u2019s\u00a0 late morning sunshine<\/p>\n

My goal to write one Pi poem<\/p>\n

before next March._I<\/p>\n

need to deliver something great<\/p>\n

prove to myself that I still<\/p>\n

can<\/p>\n

Below is the same poem but with the Pi Sequencing of numbers on each line.<\/em><\/strong><\/h5>\n

I make a list of the Pi numbers before I begin writing.<\/p>\n

This gives me the structure or grid, on which I develop a poem<\/p>\n

This is using a left brain activity, to build on with my free-flowing right brain. A good combination of Hands and Brain working together.<\/p>\n
