Hello and Happy New Year.<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\r\n

I am so happy\u00a0 to share an exciting creative project with you.<\/p>\r\n

Today, begins the final year of the first quarter of this CENTURY.

<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

At the beginning of 2024, I began to work on a collaboration with Michigan\u00a0 artist\/author Carol Farnsworth.\u00a0 In this post, I will share some insight into our project.<\/p>\r\n

\u00a0<\/h3>\r\n

The Project:<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n
Phase One\u00a0 (January 1 through December 31, 2024)<\/h5>\r\n

For one year, we each authored\u00a0 a poem 6 days a week and sent it out on a post card.<\/p>\r\n

On the reverse side of the post card, we\u00a0 created artworks for every individual card we mailed.<\/p>\r\n

We sent the cards each day, via the USPS.\u00a0 Each month Carol and I averaged 26 cards with poems and artwork traveling across the miles between Pennsylvania and Michigan. We say we are\u00a0 doing our part to keep the postal service running.<\/p>\r\n

Together we created artwork\u00a0 and a poem for approximately 625 mailings. Now, that is dedication to our project, isn’t it!<\/p>\r\n

For the first day of the new year, 2025,\u00a0 I am sharing the last poem I wrote and the last artwork I created on that card.<\/p>\r\n
