If We Live Long Enough (Poem)<\/em><\/h5>\n

Apple trees will be loaded with fruit.
\nBountiful fall harvests will
\ncarry us through winter’s storms.
\nDespite bleak predictions that
\neverything will turn topside-turvy,
\nfeast your eyes on higher ground.
\nGardens are a gift from
\nHeaven, like a Matisse painting
\nif we live long enough.
\nJust remember to
\nkeep a faithful watch.
\nListen to wind-chimes on the porch
\nmarking our place on winds of time.
\nNot to be forgotten, or
\novertaken by fears, We were
\nplanted by the Holy Spirit, long ago.
\nQuietly, sealed in Jesus, before created time. I
\nrub my eyes in wonder, to
\nsee towering trees made by our
\nthirst-quenching, Master-Gardener.
\nUnexpected storms always abate.
\nVivid. Vulnerable. Victorious.
\nWe sit in the golden global glory
\n\u201cX’ marks our spot in the sky.
\nYesterday’s visions led us to
\nZion, our eternal home.<\/p>\n

Lynda\u2019s Bio:<\/p>\n

Lynda McKinney Lambert is an award-winning artist, teacher, and author. During her years as a tenured professor at Geneva College, she taught studio art, English literature, and lectured in art history. Lynda created a travel\/study month-long course, \u201cDrawing and Writing in Salzburg\u201d that she taught each summer in Austria, Germany, Italy, and Czech Republic until her retirement in 2008.<\/p>\n

Her first public art exhibit was in 1976. Her art is in private and public collections.<\/p>\n

Lynda\u2019s publishing career began in 1980. She currently has five published books available at Amazon and other booksellers.<\/p>\n

She tends her flower gardens, walks her dog, Miss Mitchell, cares for her SEVEN cats.<\/p>\n

Lynda is married to Bob, who was her high-school sweetheart.The couple have been married for sixty-two years. Lynda and Bob have five children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
