Face Book always asks “What’s on your mind?”<\/p>\n
On this cold wintry morning in western Pennsylvania a strong wind is slashing\u00a0 through the area. Sleet is pelting down on our wooden wrap-a-round porch, steps and sidewalks. Everything outside is slick and treacherous. As I write today’s article, I consider what is on my mind as we hunker down and weather the storm.\u00a0 My daughter, Heidi, arrived here two days ago and I am thankful that today, we are snug and warm in the house. This brings me to consider the birds and animals in the woods as I recognize that God, our Father Almighty,\u00a0 takes care of all of us no matter the circumstances or weather conditions.<\/p>\n

It is an ABECEDARIAN POEM!<\/p>\n
That means, you can SEE every letter of the alphabet -in the proper order, when you LOOK at each line as you read this poem.<\/p>\n
Begin at the top and Notice how the first letter of each line will take you through the alphabet as you read the poem\u00a0 You will move from “A” to “Z.”<\/p>\n
Isn’t that cool???<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\nEnjoy the experience. Maybe you would like to write your own ABECEDARIAN POEM today?\u00a0 That would be a fun thing to do on such a wintry day as this one.<\/p>\n

Azure blue-violet sky brings secrets to light<\/p>\n
Begins to reveal figures ascending and descending<\/p>\n
Crows circle, alight beneath archaic Winter Pear tree<\/p>\n
Dark and bold crows flock to seize<\/p>\n
Every morsel I left on the beaten path. This<\/p>\n
Festive season of crow gatherings begins on Christmas Eve when<\/p>\n
Gusts of wind bring screeches and craws from<\/p>\n
High in the heavens. Black wings swoop low to the ground.<\/p>\n
I discovered I am a crow spirit<\/p>\n
Jostling for my place at the dining table<\/p>\n
Keeping the -prophetic secrets of<\/p>\n
Liturgical years for new generations.<\/p>\n
My weighted steps crush the squeaking snow<\/p>\n
Noel \u00a0– Noel – Noel \u00a0I sing this holy song<\/p>\n
On the first day of Christmastide.<\/p>\n
Pampas grass lies weighted to the ground<\/p>\n
Quivering in the frigid breeze<\/p>\n
Red berries dangle from barberry branches<\/p>\n
Snow clusters on thin branches form<\/p>\n
Tangled tapestries like spare drawings<\/p>\n
Undulating and hovering from beneath<\/p>\n
Vertical thin strokes of wintry scraffiti<\/p>\n
Waving towards the frozen road<\/p>\n
X-ing and scratching their marks in the snow<\/p>\n
Yuletide morning flights of gyrating crows<\/p>\n
Zero degrees outside.<\/p>\n
