He was the recipient of a stem cell transplant at West Penn Hospital and was still in remission at the time of his death.<\/p>\n<p>From 1958 to 1964 Bob worked as an auto-body repair man\u00a0 at Pearsall\u2019s Auto Body.<\/p>\n<p>Bob worked at Matthews Conveyor Company from 1964 to 1976 serving an apprenticeship as a Fitter-Welder.\u00a0 He worked in the Maintenance and Fitting Departments as a First-Class Fitter.\u00a0 He operated equipment such as welders, burners, drill-press punches, shears, saws, high-lifts and cranes. \u00a0He also worked as a Field Service Technician in installation and repair.<\/p>\n<p>From 1976 through 1981 Bob worked at Pelloni\u2019s Auto Service as Body Shop Foreman,<\/p>\n<p>A.R. Oliastro Excavating and Paving and<\/p>\n<p>Clem\u2019s Trailer Sales as a Service Manager, Body Shop Foreman, Inspection Mechanic and Supervisor of the Service Department.<\/p>\n<p>From 1981 to 1985 Bob owned and managed the Fombell General Store and also worked as an auto body technician at Freeman Buick and Pontiac.<\/p>\n<p>From 1987 to 1991 he worked at Morrow Motors as Service Manager, Body Shop Foreman and Inspection Mechanic.<\/p>\n<p>From 1991 through 1992 Bob worked in ground maintenance at Whisman School District, Mountain View, CA.\u00a0 After moving back to Ellwood in 1993, Bob worked as the Maintenance Supervisor at Hoyt Institute of Fine Arts in New Castle where he managed two mansions, two carriage houses and five acres of property with formal gardens.<\/p>\n<p>Bob graduated from Lincoln High School, Class of 1958, he loved attending his class reunions and staying in touch with his former classmates.\u00a0 He was a member of the Emmanual Dutch Reformed Church, formerly located in Ellwood City.<\/p>\n<p>Bob enjoyed country western dancing for many years with his wife.\u00a0 He was also an avid fan of motorcycle riding from an early age.\u00a0 He rode his favorite Honda year-round.\u00a0 He specialized in beautiful paint jobs for motorcycles in his River Road body shop.<\/p>\n<p>Bob also loved art and attending art exhibitions.\u00a0 As a sculptor who worked in steel, his steel sculptures were exhibited at Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh.\u00a0 Bob and Lynda had a two person show of his sculptures at Houghton College, NY where Bob gave a presentation to the audience on making his sculptures.\u00a0 He was also part of a six-person exhibition at the Butler Art Gallery in Butler, PA. and other juried exhibitions in the region.<\/p>\n<p>Friends may call at the Joseph A.
