Brilliant – Merry Christmas

 <\/p>\n

I worked on this poem that I planned to publish at Christmas time.<\/p>\n

However, I think this poem expresses how the American People are feeling this morning\u00a0 after we learned that our country has been saved by God’s grace.<\/p>\n

My poem expresses the joy of knowing that God is in control, and HE has heard our prayers.<\/p>\n

The Poem:\u00a0 Brilliant<\/em> (This poem is a Sestina)<\/strong><\/h4>\n

 <\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One star in the night sky is brilliant<\/p>\n

We want to gaze at it forever<\/p>\n

bright rays flowing like a river.<\/p>\n

Our journey was planned in Heaven.<\/p>\n

This child was conceived in love.<\/p>\n

The Word arrived, swaddled in Divine Glory<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Angels announced His splendid glory<\/p>\n

They sing brilliant<\/p>\n

melodies of everlasting love.<\/p>\n

A promise was sealed forever<\/p>\n

in the courts of Heaven.<\/p>\n

God\u2019s mercy flows like a river.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We are refreshed by the river<\/p>\n

that flows from the Throne of Glory.<\/p>\n

We are adorned with preparation for Heaven<\/p>\n

bejeweled and brilliant<\/p>\n

forever<\/p>\n

in love.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The shining star leads us to Love<\/p>\n

We are immersed in the healing river<\/p>\n

overflowing with forgiveness forever<\/p>\n

The ultimate Glory.<\/p>\n

He is the brilliant.<\/p>\n

narrow path that leads to Heaven<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Joy comes to earth, from Heaven.<\/p>\n

We are called to walk in love<\/p>\n

by the only One who is brilliant.<\/p>\n

Sing psalms of praise at the river<\/p>\n

where His Glory<\/p>\n

reigns forever.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Forever, Heavenly angels praise His Glory<\/p>\n

Love meets us beside the river.\u00a0 He is Brilliant!<\/p>\n

The Backstory:<\/strong><\/em><\/h3>\n

For the past 4 years, American citizens\u00a0 have witnessed the forces of darkness and death pervading our entire country, and the entire world.\u00a0 People of faith and love of God and country have been assaulted, put in prison, called vile words such as deplorable, crazy, dangerous, and even garbage by our own government officials and wicked leaders.<\/p>\n

We have prayed and put our faith in God to bring forth an end to the destroyers who have held the people captive, caused wars all over the world, and disregarded our Constitution.<\/p>\n

God has been faithful, for HE, alone, is Brilliant.<\/p>\n

This morning we learned of the victory of God’s people who voted by the thousands to overturn a corrupt government.\u00a0 We have won, with God’s help.<\/p>\n

This year, Christmas has come early.<\/h3>\n

<\/h3>\n

We can greet each other with a smile and proclaim, “Merry Christmas, God is GOOD.”<\/h3>\n

 <\/p>\n

Let’s sing a song of Happiness this morning and Thank God for his Grace. Listen and sing along!<\/a><\/p>\n
