 <\/p>\n

We are nearly at the end of September!<\/span><\/p>\n

I continue to write a poem 6 days a week for the entire year, with <\/span>\u00a0Carol Farnsworth<\/a> .\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

For the entire month of October,\u00a0 my theme willl be “Self Portraits.”<\/p>\n

I will\u00a0 show different aspects of “Self Portraits” in my poems and art.<\/p>\n

Here is the portrait that I made for September 24.\u00a0 Each of the post cards will be created on a Pantone Color and that color name\/number is\u00a0 below the\u00a0 image.<\/p>\n

let’s be honest now<\/p>\n

my plans change like strange weather<\/p>\n

able to exchange<\/p>\n

testing will end<\/p>\n

my eyes will see you at last<\/p>\n

The Backstory:<\/p>\n

As the seasons change this year, I am experiencing life without my husband.<\/p>\n

Bob left this world on January 18, 2024.\u00a0 Each month this year, presents new circumstances and everyday activities in new ways.\u00a0 Writing poems gives me new insights for each day.<\/p>\n

If you are struggling some days, I hope you will stop and take some moments to look for some small joy.\u00a0 For me, this morning, as I sit at my computer\u00a0 it is still quite dark outside. Yet, there is a single bird chirping out a message of hope to the world.\u00a0 We just have to take time and stop awhile, and listen. God gives us little messages of hope and comfort through his creations every day.\u00a0 What do you hear at this moment?<\/p>\n

Blessings are Always<\/h3>\n

in my NEWS!<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cBlessings\u201d\u00a0 often arrive in my rural mail box on River Road.<\/p>\n

Some come via\u00a0 telephone calls from friends, family and clients.<\/p>\n

In addition, blessings can arrive\u00a0 through my computer when readers leave me a comment or reflection.<\/p>\n

Some blessings are financial gifts\u00a0 that I did not know were coming to me, or when someone buys a book or a work of art from me.<\/p>\n

Some days I am invited out to lunch, or simply\u00a0 go for a walk in the park with a friend.<\/p>\n

Blessings come to us all the time if we are open to them. Like the little bird chirping outside my dark window this morning. It’s a gift and a reminder that God is always\u00a0 near.<\/p>\n

I love to give and I love to receive.<\/p>\n
