I will do a special program on how I create art and write using technologies for the blind. I am a visually impaired artist and author.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll be at the Mercer County Agency on Wednesday, September 7 at 10:00 am.<\/p>\n<p>Program is for the Tech Talk monthly program at the various agencies. I will be giving this program in four different counties in Western Pennsylvania in September.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<table width=\"585\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"100%\">\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"font-inherit\"><em>Autumnal Prelude<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>\u00a9Lynda McKinney Lambert, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>\n<table width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"74%\">My sleek black cat stretches forward<\/p>\n<p>views rain-soaked world through open window<\/p>\n<p>sits quietly as early morning rain dribbles<\/p>\n<p>soft metallic tunes on rainspouts<\/p>\n<p>listens to chipmunks chattering<\/p>\n<p>in rock pile of spare Japanese garden.<\/p>\n<p>I listen to cars splashing down flooded road<\/p>\n<p>crows calling from beyond the dense woods<\/p>\n<p>deep olive-green dimness of tangled<\/p>\n<p>swagging bittersweet vines<\/p>\n<p>careening from highest maple trees<\/p>\n<p>Rain alters my gardening schedules<\/p>\n<p>tulip, crocus, and daffodil bulbs<\/p>\n<p>remain unnoticed, dry and safe<\/p>\n<p>after swift flight from Holland<\/p>\n<p>the promise of a colorful spring garden<\/p>\n<p>remains intact<\/p>\n<p>resting in cardboard shipping box.<\/p>\n<p>Autumnal days grow cooler<\/p>\n<p>but soil remains warm<\/p>\n<p>plants now focus their energy<\/p>\n<p>on root development<\/p>\n<p>preparing for their Spring performance.<\/p>\n<p>Patience is a virtue for cats, gardeners and plants.<\/p>\n<h1 class=\"font-inherit\"><strong>*<\/strong><\/h1>\n<blockquote><p>The BACK STORY:<\/p>\n<p>Note:<\/p>\n<p>Recorded in my JOURNAL:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I wrote this poem today, 16 October 2021.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I wrote it specifically to submit to this anthology.<\/p>\n<p>I created it from the images, sounds, and thoughts\u00a0 I was having as I sat by the screened in window watching my cat, Inca.<\/p>\n<p>Inca and I spend a lot of quality time together.\u00a0 He is my shadow. I have six cats, but Inca is the one who wants the most attention. and, he gets it, too.<\/p>\n<p>When this poem was published in Vita Brevis #3, I was not disappointed.
