A Spring Configuration Poem<\/em> (Acrostic)<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

Configuration poems<\/p>\r\n

Often look like mountain stones\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Next to delicate green ferns<\/p>\r\n

For\u00a0decades<\/p>\r\n

I pull the weeds from my flower<\/p>\r\n

Garden in the early morning light<\/p>\r\n

Until a soft upwelling<\/p>\r\n

Rain brings the plants<\/p>\r\n

Abundantly to life and I<\/p>\r\n

Think about \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n

Iridescent red tulips beside<\/p>\r\n

Ocean blue Japanese grass that<\/p>\r\n

Never grows more than 10 inches tall<\/p>\r\n

 <\/p>\r\n

Purple hyacinths blooming<\/p>\r\n

On ordinary spring days<\/p>\r\n

Earthy fragrances<\/p>\r\n

Move closer, take a deep breath<\/p>\r\n

Sniff the sweet -smelling yellow daffodils.<\/p>\r\n
