Patty L. Fletcher lives in Kingsport, Tennessee, where she works full-time as a writer to bridge the great chasm which separates the disAbled from the non-disAbled. She is also a Social Media Marketing Assistant.<\/span><\/p>\n

This morning I read<\/span><\/p>\n

The Midsummer June\/July Edition.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As I look outside my window, I see a rainy, rather gloomy morning here in The Village of Wurtemburg, in western Pennsylvania. I can hear the splashing sounds of traffic down on Route 108, just behind our home. People are traveling another two miles west to Ellwood City, Pennsylvania – and others are traveling about 8 miles east, towards Portersville, Pennsylvania. From my spot here in my little heaven-on-earth, I keep updated on happenings worldwide. I love my life, and I hope you feel the same about your life journey, too.<\/span><\/p>\n

Like that brilliant sunflower graphic, let\u2019s all bloom where we are planted.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the perfect day to be inside my office and read about various people. Some are publishing books. Some are taking trips or going on new adventures.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The person who makes\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

all of these literary and artistic magazines happen bi-monthly is an editor,\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Patty L. Fletcher.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Patty, a talented woman, must have many hats in her closet. I think that on any day, Patty dips into her hat boxes and selects a number of them as she tackles various jobs.<\/span><\/p>\n

At first glance,<\/span><\/p>\n

I love the overlay of the sunflower on the magazine cover.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is an excellent way to pinpoint the mid-summer season and draw attention to the cover graphics. Good choice!Kudos to the design staff for this sharp punch of color!<\/span><\/p>\n

I especially love how Patty Fletcher adds her personal comments at the end of every post. It is like an ongoing conversation she is having with the writers, and it\u2019s unique and feels like a warm and friendly conversation among friends. And we indeed are friends with Patty. All of us!<\/span><\/p>\n

And that says a lot about the kind of person Patty is, doesn\u2019t it!<\/span><\/p>\n

Friends of the Heart<\/span><\/em><\/h2>\n

This personal story is close to my heart for many reasons. Descriptions of past and present friendships, memories of dear friends who have left this earth, and her deep feelings touched my own heart. As I read about Tasha\u2019s companions, my mind was urging me to acknowledge several people in my life journey, which is a treasured memory over the years. Like me, Tasha has lived a very long life. Some things come to us only after a lengthy friendship over many years. Clarity takes time and thoughtfulness. Tasha celebrates friends, the long-time ones and the new ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, I love how Patty introduced another of my notable picks in the section,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
