Walking by Inner Vision Blog<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\npresents<\/span><\/h3>\n\nGarden Songs – <\/strong>A Note from the Flowers<\/em><\/span><\/h1>\nLynda writes a series of Garden Songs for the summer season.<\/h4>\nThey are little poems inspired by her flower gardens.<\/h4>\n<\/h1>\n*<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<\/div>\nA Note from the Flowers<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\nWe all agree<\/span><\/p>\nwe need a little space in your yard<\/span><\/p>\nsome sunshine and shade<\/span><\/p>\nplease, keep it SIMPLE<\/span><\/p>\nplant one or two types of flowers<\/span><\/p>\nkeep it SIMPLE<\/span><\/p>\nthink outside the flower pot<\/span><\/p>\nadd a\u00a0 piece of sculpture,<\/span><\/p>\nplace\u00a0 us in an old bird bath<\/span><\/p>\na rusty old wheelbarrow would be fun<\/span><\/p>\nwe love to live\u00a0 beside a reflecting ball<\/span><\/p>\nplace some pottery bowls\u00a0 in the soil<\/span><\/p>\nto hold\u00a0 water for our small friends<\/span><\/p>\nwho drink it clean and fresh<\/span><\/p>\nkeep us safe from nasty weeds<\/p>\n
give us water\u00a0 early in the day<\/p>\n
and chase away harmful\u00a0 bugs and worms<\/p>\n
\u00a0our needs are simple.<\/p>\n

\nI planted shade plants in this triangle-shaped space.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
I put some ceramic sculptures into this triangle and a wonderful birdbath base holds a reflecting ball I brought home from Austria one summer.\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/h3>\n\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.lyndalambert.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/2021_MossRocks_June5.jpg?resize=277%2C300&ssl=1\")
<\/a><\/p>\nMossy Rocks Garden fits nicely beside the porch. This area is shaded most of the day.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

<\/a><\/p>\nLook close \u2013 can you see a SNAIL and a FROG? Schmolly the SNAIL and Theodora, the FROG \u2013 are ceramic sculptures made by Ilsa Barry, a librarian from Burlington, KY. She is our daughter and she made them as GIFTS to us one year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
