Adonai lives in the beginning line<\/p>\n

Brings sacred revelations<\/p>\n

Composed of words that<\/p>\n

Dwell among the holy places<\/p>\n

Elohim \u2013 psalms reveal messages<\/p>\n

From first mark or final brush stroke<\/p>\n

Guided by alphabetical order<\/p>\n

Hebrew songs of sorrows and praise<\/p>\n

Inspired writings – Alpha to Omega<\/p>\n

Journeys to bring us together<\/p>\n

Kyrios focused on the pilgrimage<\/p>\n

Letters form sounds \u00a0to guide us<\/p>\n

Mnemonic reminders of mystics among us<\/p>\n

Names of God on our forehead<\/p>\n

Omega \u2013 \u00a0It is finished!<\/p>\n

Prayers, Hymns, and Psalms<\/p>\n

Quietly moving symbols down the page<\/p>\n

Respectfully writing my poem with<\/p>\n

Successive letters from A to Z<\/p>\n

The modern abecedarian is<\/p>\n

Usually presented without<\/p>\n

Verses and end rhymes<\/p>\n

Words shall set us free to dance<\/p>\n

X is an artifact of ancient Greek<\/p>\n

Yeshua is always with us<\/p>\n

Zion. \u00a0The sacred composition is complete.<\/p>\n

Backstory:<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n

_Ancient Texts _<\/strong><\/em>
\nI wrote this poem from my thoughts on the word, “ancient.”\u00a0 I thought of the Biblical stories in the Old Testament and the names of God.\u00a0 \u00a0I chose to use the ABECEDARIAN form because it is a logical progression of the alphabet from A to Z.<\/p>\n

Look down the left side of the poem and you will see the alphabetical order from top to bottom of the poem. When I came to the “X” I was so delighted when I remembered that is is a symbol for Christ.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0<\/b>Greek Chi or\u00a0X\u00a0<\/b>is\u00a0the\u00a0<\/b>first\u00a0letter\u00a0<\/b>in\u00a0the\u00a0<\/b>Greek word Christos as in Jesus Christos aka Jesus\u00a0<\/b>Christ.<\/div>\n
You will frequently see people write Xmas, as well as Xian, which means Christian, using\u00a0the\u00a0<\/b>same principle.<\/div>\n
During times of the persecution of ancient Christians, they used this letter as a mark to identify that they were Christians.<\/div>\n
