But now it is a reality.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I took a big step forward to move my office to a space where all my adaptive technology could be in one place.<\/div>\n<div>Bob and I worked diligently for several weeks to make this move happen.<\/div>\n<div>What an enormous undertaking to move my office from one floor to another.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We decided that my office should be on the ground floor.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The best part is that now \u00a0I have two walls surrounding me with large windows so that I am connected to the space outside the house.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>I love Nature in all her seasons, moods, and shades.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The trees, the weather, the sounds of people and traffic, birds, and wild creatures.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Nature motivates me \u00a0and stimulates my imagination \u00a0when I am \u00a0working in a solitary space.<\/div>\n<div>I feel like I now have my own &#8220;command center.&#8221; I feel in control.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This was the perfect time to re-organize my &#8220;things&#8221; and toss away all that was no longer relevant to me.<\/div>\n<div>It was a cleansing time &#8211;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333399;\">Today, May 28, 2019, <\/span><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\">I am revising my office space again.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<h1><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">After 9 years, it needs another cleansing.<\/span><\/h1>\n<div>I started by sifting through my yarn storage on the wall &#8211;<\/div>\n<div>Now, I am moving on to sift through the binders and boxes of other materials.<\/div>\n<div>This is a good summer project for me &#8211;<\/div>\n<div>As I write this revision of my original 2010 article, the spring rains are pouring down outside my windows.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>A fire siren is alerting everyone that there is danger out there &#8211; flooding &#8211; and my neighbor&#8217;s home has a stream of muddy waters flowing through the garage and down the driveway.\u00a0 May can be a dangerous month in western Pennsylvania.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong>Below:\u00a0 PHOTOS from TODAY &#8211; May 28, 2019<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<div>I paused to take a few photos today, so I can show you how my office space looks 9 years later.<\/div>\n<div>Most of my equipment was replaced. The computer and monitor are new.<\/div>\n<div>The Merlin CCTV to the left of my computer, and the Dell\u00a0 Laser printer are still the same. I&#8217;ve been using them all these years.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong>My old chair was replaced by a nice new Lazy Boy Chair! years.<\/p>\n<p>I miss him a lot.<\/p>\n<p>I like to look at my walls and see art work by friends, my 3 certificates of graduation for my degrees, and other awards and special items in frames.\u00a0 They keep me in touch with who I am as a professional and private person.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
