My Bio:<\/h2>\n

Lynda McKinney Lambert\u00a0 is a visual artist, author.<\/h6>\n

Professor of fine arts and humanities, Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA.<\/p>\n

Her art and writing garners awards in the US and internationally. She was nominated for “Best of the Web” for her non-fiction. Lynda’s\u00a0 poetry appears each year in\u00a0 Proverse (Hong Kong) Prize for Single Poem, anthologies.\u00a0 Her writing has appeared in many other anthologies in America.<\/p>\n

Since her retirement in 2008, she authored 6 published books that are available\u00a0 at Amazon. Currently, she is working on her 7th book,\u00a0 a full length book of poetry.<\/p>\n

Lynda established her River Road Studio in 1976 in the Village of Wurtemburg, in western Pennsylvania. From this rural location along the banks\u00a0 of the Connoquenessiing creek, she creates art and writing that appears around the world.<\/p>\n

Her first public art exhibit was in 1976. Her award-winning art is in private and public collections.<\/p>\n

Most recently, her one-person exhibition of fiber art was featured in the show, Word and Bead:\u00a0 A Life Tapestry.\u00a0 The show was sponsored by UPMC and\u00a0 curated by the Hoyt Art Center, in New Castle, PA.\u00a0 This collection appeared for 3 months at UPMC Jameson Hospital, in the Hoyt Atrium Gallery.\u00a0 It was a collection of fiber art and poetry.<\/p>\n

Lynda earned a BFA Degree\u00a0 in\u00a0 painting: 1989,<\/p>\n

She earned the MFA\u00a0 Degree in Painting in 1991,<\/p>\n

Lynda\u2019s extensive writing career began in 1980, when one of her essays was published in Cage Bird Magazine.<\/p>\n

She earned a MA in English in 1994,<\/p>\n

She tends her flower gardens, loves to knit , and cares for her 8 cats who were all rescued.<\/p>\n

\nI experience joy when I am in my sacred space with God. creating my artworks or writing non-fiction stories and poems.<\/em><\/p>\n

I love to read and study in the early morning hours from my Mom\u2019s King James Bible. The fourth watch of the night is my special time for praying and seeking wisdom for the new day. <\/em><\/p>\n

Time with God is precious to me.\u00a0 It is the core of who I am, a follower of Jesus.<\/em>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
