Soothing music surrounds me with peace and calms my spirit.
I play beautiful music day and night. It lifts my spirit, heals my body and mind, and brings refreshment to me. During the night our home is filled with sweet sounds. I choose music that has the vibrations set at 444hz.
There is a Biblical account of King Saul who was troubled and oppressed by a spirit of confusion. That spirit brought vibrations that caused his brain to be impaired. The King sent for David who played a lyre for the king. The soothing music settled the king down and took away his distress. Such music settles our brainwaves.

Dartmouth’s campus teems with music. The bells in Baker Tower chime every hour, Professor Brison hosts an array of performances for East Wheelock residents, and the Hopkins Center brings in esteemed artists from around the world. Many students get their feet wet with music classes while others sing or play in ensembles on campus. Everyone else owns an iPod. Performers learn to master the technique necessary to play their instruments, and listeners grow to prefer genres. Yet, music lovers often overlook the foundation of music: science.
Sounds are governed by principles of physics, from the vibration of strings on a violin to the measurements and dimensions that go into the acoustics of a concert hall or stadium. At the heart of the physics of music is the wave, an energy-carrying disturbance that travels through particles in a given medium. Additionally, the way we hear and process musical sounds requires a complex biological system.

Music is a powerful force in our life.
Lately, I have been enjoying some music by Hunters Point Celebration Center.
The sound is making a remarkable change in the atmosphere in my home. I discovered this much brings such a peaceful feeling to our home. I am selecting it on Youtube and letting the sounds fill our home day and night. I’ve noticed that even the cats and dogs are acting peaceful and calm! Listen Here.

My Books: Here
New – Songs for the Pilgrimage
This new book was on my heart for nearly twenty years. In April 2021, I brought this collection to life.
Poems, Stories, Memoir, Biography, Journal Entries
A pilgrimage is a spiritual journey where participants agree to travel from one location to another to reach a religious shrine or holy place..
Pilgrimage has been an abiding theme in my writing for many years.
My first book, Concerti: Psalms for the Pilgrimage (Kota Press 2007), was inspired by my annual journeys to Salzburg, Austria. For a month each summer, I taught a college course, Drawing and Writing, in Salzburg.
Nineteen years later, I revised and expanded that book of poems, historical notes, and journal entries.
This is the new book, Songs for the Pilgrimage, which features poems, historical notes, personal non-fiction essays, meditations, prayers, and photographs.
This new book features work I created over four decades.
